Bros can you show me (us) pics of the one you built, although I ordered necessary things needed, but still in transit from China, what type of wire do you use and the size and length if possible, what is the wattage of the microwave transformer size, can you weld 0.2 nickel strip ?

It is quite easy to build, integrating an adjustable timer at the primary side of the transformer makes it easily for you to select how long power will pass through the secondary side. Also, using bigger cable size at the secondary side increase the amount of amperage that can pass through the spot probes without damaging the probes.

Built one I use for my DIY and it worked just fine for my lithium ion spot welding jobs.

Why not keep the remaining 6 sets of cells as back up in case of one or 2 bad ones?

its a time wasting for me charging them to know the capacity but my style of grouping battery is charging them fully and leave them for like 1-3weeks or more depending how urgent you want to build, and check the voltage again, the bad cell will have very low voltage to others, it's number for battery to drop voltage but dropping about 2v or more is not a good sign.


it's not easy to re-place battery with this type of setup
so I never pray it happened and if it does the bad cell will stay within the pack because trying to locate it is like a big work.

Am building my self the biggest battery I ever build, am planning of adding 6pcs battery to each parallel, I will surely do that before I finish the setup.

Dolkarnaira know what his doing and he understands battery very well, if you're the type that is just learning DIY, please BMS is a most for you, a pro can do without BMS because they know what to do.

you can't tell me you've not make a mistake in this DIY stuff before, am not saying BMS is perfect but is a sort of protection layer just in case the mistake comes, even the charger you're using can malfunction and supply higher voltage, although it's not a must but is a matter of choice, trust me it's a good choice for someone that use a better BMS

If you build a 12v system wrongly, you don't need to generalize it.

Can you state the difference between 50ah at 24v and 100ah at 12v?

Just last night I deliberately drew 18.7a on the system above-- 6 bulbs, freezer, 2 fans, charging, 32" tv, Decoder--- cable didn't even get warm.

Why do phone chargers get hot converting 220v to a very small 5v?

Why do car tyres and engines get hot after driving ?


An ordinary powerbank of 5v is enough to light up and charge phones..

Those is band A will manage energy better than band D users.

after all you your self said 24v is great and 48v is sweet, that's the same thing am saying why not go for great and leave 12v for small appliances.

I believe you know that most people are upgrading to 24v or even 48v, and charging is not easy you will need to change almost everything from charger to inverter, that's why am saying it's better to start with great as you said 😉

Just a balancer..

Please try and add BMS although your battery will work without the BMS but trust me a day might come that shit may happened, it's the BMS that will rescue you, all balancer don't regulate charging, if your charger misbehave or you mistakenly set wrong setting it's BMS that will save you not balancer.

Don't go for the cheapest, go for the moderate price or try those smart BMS

It the same. Standard li-ion 24v is 7s, that's 3v per cell cut off( 3v *7cells is 21v ). While standard li-ion 12 is 3s, being 3v per cell cut off ( 3v *3cells is 9v )

Though they look the same trust me 24v is far better and it will save your wire.
e. g if your appliance is 350w and you connect it to your 12v battery it mean you will need to draw 29Amp from the battery but if you connect the same appliance to 24v you will only draw 14Amp.

Sincerely I don't know why people build 12 battery
the 12v battery I build are just for phone charging and bulb lightning only

Although if you started with 12v it will be hard to change inverter, I wish I even started with 48v, it will not give your wire much stress

I always ask this question too but when I use NTEL my brother I experience the kind of speed have never seen before, though there network signal is stronger in some location while weak in others location.
I got 45mb per sec on speed test, so with that kind speed I believe NTEL has the real 4G LTE
