Politics / Re: Nigerian Workers Release Breakdown Of Proposed ₦‎615,000 Minimum Wage by Barims(m): 4:30pm On May 04
CharleyBright:
N615,000 minimum wage is not feasible.
Labour unions are being selfish.
What happens to all other people that are not civil servant and won't be paid N615k? No be same market everyone go buy from? The civil servants will have much more to spend, while the the pepper seller and vulcanizer man on the streets have less to spend.
When FG removed fuel subsidy, didn't it affect everyone , so why would labour unions be demanding for 615k for workers alone?.
What about the inflationary effects on the economy?
Best the FG should do is double present minimum wage of 30k and make it 60k. Any worker that don't want it should resign and go home.

Another stupid talk

pharmagba:
Unserious labour leaders, they don't know the enormity of task at hand hence throwing up figure recklessly oblivious of other factors as government earnings and amount that should be for capital project from earnings.
All earnings cannot be for recurrent.
N80,000 is realistic and OK.
Someone that has been surviving on N35k will.survive on N80k

Report has it that the deceased friends made attempt to attack the security personnels with broken bottle. Are you trying to say that they should fold their hands while the mob attack them? Please let's be prudent and impartial in our judgement. It is wrong for any civilian to confront or fight security
personnels. On the other hand, I blame the policeman for shooting the young man,he went too extreme. He should have used a mild punitive measure to scare away the mob.

If it's true that the deceased and his friends had made attempt to attack the officer, then he deserves to be shot. The officer was only protecting himself.

You want your course mates to call you what exactly? Brother, uncle or senior? Lol. If the age difference is wide they'd probably address you as Mister.

Uncle you have to let this slide.

I've been bothered by something lately. I'm 27 years old and studying at university. I've noticed that my classmates disrespect me by addressing me by my name, despite the fact that I'm significantly older than them—probably about 5 to 6 years older. It's really bothering me, and I'm not happy about it. Imagine someone I'm six years older than calling me by my name. Should I just distance myself from them since I'm uncomfortable with the way they treat me as if we were the same age? Or what'd suggest I do ?

Please no insult pleasure 🙏

Crime / Should I Get The Police Involve Pls by Barims(m): 10:48pm On Apr 26
Behind our house, there's a church that disturbs the entire neighborhood every night with loud noise. Despite having only around 18 members and being located in an unfinished building, they use large speakers that cause significant noise pollution. I'm deeply concerned about my mom's health, as she suffers from both insomnia and hypertension. This constant disturbance prevents us from getting any rest at night. Can I involve the police in this matter? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. I reside in Osogbo, Osun State.

Litmus:
Human rights need to caution Nigeria due to the way every section of Nigeria society maltreat the police. From Federal, State, civil society down to the everyday people, all abuse Nigeria police. I am fundamentally sad for the Nigeria police. Oh my god, treat these people with humanity. Army beat and kill them, people celebrate; they are dismissed from livelihood due to asking for bribe from aloof and spoilt-brat white people, Nigerians celebrate; they are butchered and eaten by protesters, people blame them for past actions; people slap them; they are killed by bandits no one cares , the state even frees the bandits. Agwu for you Nigerians. Everyday, they are killed by miscreants in the East, and massacred by numbnuts in the North East, they are underpaid by the state. People secretly film them taking bribe due to being underpaid and broadcast it all over social media. Nigerians abuse and make fun of them. Celebrities, politicians and wealthy people treat them like thire houseboys. They are probably the most harmless police in the world - if you really look deeply into it and compare thire actions and reactions to that of police in most part of the world - yet Nigerians paint them as though they are the most brutal. angry. Yet they lay down thire lives repeatedly for the ungrateful people of Nigeria.

Nigeria needs to consider automatic death penalty for anyone that kills the police man or woman.
