Autos / Nigeria's Z-600 Saloon Car by barutiwa(m): 7:20am On Jan 12, 2011 |
To whom it may concern: In 1997, I was following a story about locally produced saloon cars in Nigeria. The first Nigerian produced car appeared in the city of Owerri and was known as the Z-600. According to a PANA report filed by Nicholas Ibewuike, a certain Ezekiel Izuogu conceived, designed and manufactured the car. I am interested in writing a follow-up to the progress of the Z-600. However, over the years I haven't heard anything about the mass production of Nigeria's first self-made saloon car. I'd appreciate if someone can help me acquire additional information. Thanks in advance. Respectfully submitted, Baruti M. Kamau What happened to Nigeria's self-made car? - 1/12/2011 |
