The website is fake. It was created in June 2011 and the owner is suppose to be Mohammed Yusuf who we all know has died since. It is just a propaganda by an enemy of Islam who does not know how to do it well. Why will they show Islamic at the front? And it is also very cheap.

Well, the text is better than nothing sha, but I still observed several land mines in quotes from the quaran. For instance " And fight then on, until there is no more tumult or oppression and there prevail Justice and Faith"-Surah al-baqard 193)The problem with this text is ' definition of tumult ,oppresion,Justice and Faith'. Definition of these key words will vary among several believers. This text can be used to recruit terrorist depening on who is the mullah, all the mullah he needs do is to define these key words to suit is purpose. Justice to some folks may mean that all Nigerian woman should wear Hijab.Christ doctrine of " if any man strikes you on right cheek , turn the left cheek to him' is better for the world. I concede that we christians are not following Christ doctrines either, but we all take personal resposibility for our disobedience and not saying that Christ told us to hurt other non-believers in the name of Jesus.

Aren't there some verses of the Qur'an that condone "killing the infidel"?
By Huda, About.com Guide

Question: Aren't there some verses of the Qur'an that condone "killing the infidel"?
Answer: The Qur'an commands Muslims to stick up for themselves in a defensive battle -- i.e. if an enemy army attacks, then Muslims are to fight against that army until they stop their aggression. All of the verses that speak about fighting/war in the Qur'an are in this context.
There are some specific verses that are very often "snipped" out of context, either by critics of Islam discussing "jihadism," or by misguided Muslims themselves who wish to justify their aggressive tactics.

"Slay Them" - If They Attack You First
For example, one verse (in its snipped version) reads: "slay them wherever you catch them" (Qur'an 2:191). But who is this referring to? Who are "they" that this verse discusses? The preceding and following verses give the correct context:
"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors. And slay them wherever you catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter, But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful, If they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression" (2:190-193).
It is clear from the context that these verses are discussing a defensive war, when a Muslim community is attacked without reason, oppressed and prevented from practicing their faith. In these circumstances, permission is given to fight back -- but even then Muslims are instructed not to transgress limits, and to cease fighting as soon as the attacker gives up. Even in these circumstances, Muslim are only to fight directly against those who are attacking them, not innocent bystanders or non-combatants.

"Fight the Pagans" - If They Break Treaties
A similar verse can be found in chapter 9, verse 5 -- which in its snipped, out of context version could read: "fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)." Again, the preceding and following verses give the context.
This verse was revealed during a historical period when the small Muslim community had entered into treaties with neighboring tribes (Jewish, Christian, and pagan). Several of the pagan tribes had violated the terms of their treaty, secretly aiding an enemy attack against the Muslim community. The verse directly before this one instructs the Muslims to continue to honor treaties with anyone who has not since betrayed them, because fulfilling agreements is considered a righteous action. Then the verse continues, that those who have violated the terms of the treaty have declared war, so fight them, (as quoted above).

Directly after this permission to fight, the same verse continues, "but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them, for God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." The subsequent verses instruct the Muslims to grant asylum to any member of the pagan tribe/army who asks for it, and again reminds that "as long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for God loves the righteous."

Conclusion
Any verse that is quoted out of context misses the whole point of the message of the Qur'an. Nowhere in the Qur'an can be found support for indiscriminate slaughter, the killing of non-combatants, or murder of innocent persons in 'payback' for another people's alleged crimes.
The Islamic teachings on this subject can be summed up in the following verses (Qur'an 60:7-cool:
"It may be that God will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For God has power (over all things), and God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
God does not forbid you, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for God loves those who are just."

codelady:
Any man who doesn't want a housewife / homemaker because she will be "riding for free" is not a real man. Such men blatantly deny their God-given responsibilities and usually end up losing the respect of their wives (look all around you). As someone put it, a homemaker works HARDER than an office lady - her job is 24-7. Some of these women still work part-time/have a home-based business besides! She is supposed to "ride for free" in her HUSBAND'S HOUSE because she is your WIFE (your help-meet). By the time wordly thinking comes into the matter, you get statements like that from men (who show no love and no leadership abilities - deal with it, guys!). Please ladies, AVOID SUCH MEN!!! Secondly, to answer the question, no lady should have a job/career that deprives her of her primary role as nurturer of the family.
Plus she does not take annual vacation.

Who will call himself a Man when he is waiting for the person he promise to take care of to contribute financially in running the house?

I started seeing this course-mate of mine 3 months ago. We aren't boyfriend and girlfriend in the real sense of the word, but we were quite close. We are both in our final year and we didn't really know each other much all these years but I've always noticed and admired him over the years. Somehow, through a twist of fate we became close and i started developing real feelings for him. This year, our intimacy went to a whole new level and we started having sex and regularly too. I knew we couldn't be in the stereotypical relationship, but we were lovers. Even though i wanted much more than that, but i was content with the way things were and i didn't want it to change. There wasn't any form of commitment from both parties. . .which was still okay. . . I should mention that I'm 3 years older than him even though i don't know if he knows it. This is actually my inhibition in getting too serious with him. . .i know it can never work, that there can never be a happily ever after end to that one, but i fell in love.

Yesterday, while we were in school, we were together as we always and there wasn't any hint that anything was amiss. . much later in the day, i called him to ask  him if he wanted to spend the night at my place, but he didn't take the call. i sent him a text, he didn't reply. I assumed nothing.

Today, i was reading through status updates on face book, and i saw the one he posted last night ""months of meaningless sex , worthless relationships, finally I'm in love n I'm happy" i can't describe how hurt i felt.

My answer to the question above is "yes"

Sometimes, i enter into relationships purely for the experience, curiosity and just for the sake of it. It's actually best though if the other party is in it for the same reasons, and not for something serious.

I once had a boyfriend who i really loved so much but i knew from the onset i wouldn't marry him for "certain" reasons! It really hurt him when he realized i wasn't planning on having a future with him. It eventually led to our breakup, but the truth is this, i really loved him and would have pleasantly keep the relationship for as long as possible, but marriage must not come into the picture.

And this is from Wikipedia:

On questions about his refusal to release photos of bin Laden at the time of his death, U.S. President Barack Obama said, "The fact of the matter is, you will not see bin Laden walking on this earth again." Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury of the United States questioned whether the death even occurred. He suggested the possibility that the operation was staged, and that bin Laden was already dead. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mojahed said that "Obama has not got any strong evidence that can prove his claim over killing of the Sheikh Osama bin Laden," and that no "close sources" to bin Laden confirmed the death. Residents of Abbottabad cast doubt on whether bin Laden even resided in the compound

SOMEONE ALSO WROTE

The world woke up on Monday May 2, 2011 with the news of a 'successful' military operation by the US Marine that was approved by President Obama and which resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden, the leader of "Muslim terrorist organisation"- Al Qaida. Major TV stations had pictures of few hundred jubilating crowd at the White House. They had earlier monitored, via TV, the 'dramatic announcement by Mr Obama' (as BBC puts it) about the death of the Saudi citizen that has been blamed for all the atrocities committed by the Western world in the last decade.

Why am I not convinced about this?
a. Osama was said to have been in hiding in a high brow area called Abbottabad. It was a conspicuous building few minutes from a military base. The entire area houses military high commands both serving and retired.
b. He was earlier said to be killed many times. see this link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnychOXj9Tg&feature=player_embedded#at=21
c. This operation was okeyed by Mr President on Friday and carried out successfully Sunday without a single American causality
d. Within the last hour some networks have reported that the remains of Osama has been buried at 'deep see'.
All of these sound like an episode of Tom and Jerry to me. We hear different things in different days.

My hypothesis:
1. Osama has been dead for long but admitting that would have given the US no moral rights of continuous stay in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
2. Mr Obama's rating needs a big boost. He needs to be seen as a strong leader and therefore, a military gimmick of this standing is ideal.
3. The US wants to pull out of Afghanistan and Pakistan; they want to close down Guantanamo Bay. The tax payers have to be convinced that the danger has been eliminated or at least drastically reduced.
4. Some members of the UN Security Council would voice their dislike to the war in Libya on Tuesday after the killing of Ghadafi's siblings. In order to make that news less relevant, US has brought up this sensational story.
Who do I believe in this world? A world full of lying old men and leaders that are not honorable.

Osama bin Laden’s Second Death

By Paul Craig Roberts

May 02, 2011 "Information Clearing House" -- If today were April 1 and not May 2, we could dismiss as an April fool’s joke this morning’s headline that Osama bin Laden was killed in a firefight in Pakistan and quickly buried at sea. As it is, we must take it as more evidence that the US government has unlimited belief in the gullibility of Americans.

Think about it. What are the chances that a person allegedly suffering from kidney disease and requiring dialysis and, in addition, afflicted with diabetes and low blood pressure, survived in mountain hideaways for a decade? If bin Laden was able to acquire dialysis equipment and medical care that his condition required, would not the shipment of dialysis equipment point to his location? Why did it take ten years to find him?

Consider also the claims, repeated by a triumphalist US media celebrating bin Laden’s death, that “bin Laden used his millions to bankroll terrorist training camps in Sudan, the Philippines, and Afghanistan, sending ‘holy warriors’ to foment revolution and fight with fundamentalist Muslim forces across North Africa, in Chechnya, Tajikistan and Bosnia.” That’s a lot of activity for mere millions to bankroll (perhaps the US should have put him in charge of the Pentagon), but the main question is: how was bin Laden able to move his money about? What banking system was helping him? The US government succeeds in seizing the assets of people and of entire countries, Libya being the most recent. Why not bin Laden’s? Was he carrying around with him $100 million dollars in gold coins and sending emissaries to distribute payments to his far-flung operations?

This morning’s headline has the odor of a staged event. The smell reeks from the triumphalist news reports loaded with exaggerations, from celebrants waving flags and chanting “USA USA.” Could something else be going on?

No doubt President Obama is in desperate need of a victory. He committed the fool’s error or restarting the war in Afghanistan, and now after a decade of fighting the US faces stalemate, if not defeat. The wars of the Bush/Obama regimes have bankrupted the US, leaving huge deficits and a declining dollar in their wake. And re-election time is approaching.

The various lies and deceptions, such as “weapons of mass destruction,” of the last several administrations had terrible consequences for the US and the world. But not all deceptions are the same. Remember, the entire reason for invading Afghanistan in the first place was to get bin Laden. Now that President Obama has declared bin Laden to have been shot in the head by US special forces operating in an independent country and buried at sea, there is no reason for continuing the war.

Perhaps the precipitous decline in the US dollar in foreign exchange markets has forced some real budget reductions, which can only come from stopping the open-ended wars. Until the decline of the dollar reached the breaking point, Osama bin Laden, who many experts believe to have been dead for years, was a useful bogyman to use to feed the profits of the US military/security complex.

1-we've all seen that Alves was not even touched

2- The referee is a die hard Messi fan so will favor Messi's team

The German referee, Wolfgang Stark, who will lead the match between Argentina and Nigeria, said “I would love to change my shirt with him, of course. But it would have to be in the locker room, because if not, I should show them the yellow card”.

Stark made public his admiration for the Argentine crack. The referee had already performed in a match in which “La Pulga” played; the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Champions League, in which Barcelona beat Arsenal 4-0.

“I remember the great match he did against Arsenal when he scored four goals against Barcelona. And also remember that he asked me for the ball. Of course I gave him the ball, after scoring so many goals, he deserved it. That ball should be a nice memory for Messi, “recalled the German judge.

Stark now hopes for a return of favors. “I would love to change my shirt with him, but, anyway, and given the quality of the player, I think that several Nigerian players will be very interested in having his jersey.”

“When I found out that I was going to be the referee of Argentina vs. Nigeria, I was very happy because this is one of the most important matches of the group, with one of the favorites,” he concluded.
