BUSTED? See ‘Boko Haram Terrorist’ Among Jonathan’s Baga Welcome Crew

A suspected Boko Haram member in military uniform has been spotted in the images of those who welcomed president Goodluck Jonathan in Baga this week.

Studying the pictures with highlights, one notices the bearded man among some unusual looking men in uniform on the far left of the image.

Posed: Who is that bearded man in military uniform? Is he not a Boko Haram terrorist or was Asari-Dokubo part of the President visit to Baga? Who are the weird men in uniform on the left flank?

We must remind our readers that the military does not ever allow such a huge massive beard. The questions being asked are: Why did President Jonathan not visit Baga with journalists from renowned newspapers to give the visit huge publicity especially in light of the recent holocaust in that area? What is Goodluck Jonathan hiding from Nigerians? Who is that heavily bearded military man? Who are the other unusual men in army uniform on that side of the welcome pavilion? Was the visit a meeting between Jonathan and the terrorists’ leaders? What did they discus?


NewsRescue commentators said: We believe when they were taking the shots it never occurred to them that the bearded man in military uniform will appear and raise suspicions. And Nigerians should demand the military to tell us who those men are.

Nigerians demand answers,- if this was a negotiation meeting with Boko Haram or something because that was how Jonathan first lied that the meeting with Chadian president Idriss Deby last September was about ‘arms smuggling’ before later admitting after NewsRescue figured it out and exposed it, that the meeting was actually when they negotiated the scam ceasefire that led to thousands of Nigerian deaths. We need the truth. Did president Jonathan go to Baga to meet with Boko Haram terror leaders?

1. Lets look it from human angle; are they not humans?.If they are,why must you kill them at first instance?.
2.Mbu never said he will kill "civilians" for any offices killed.he said,he will kill "them",(the miscrants) that killed the officer.
3.when you turn a miscrant,and got armed,and kill a police officer,you are no longer a "civilian",but an armed criminal/terrorist/miscrant,etc.and hence,you and your group must face the full wrath of the law,death inclusive.

Says OPC will mobilise house-to-house for Jonathan

LAGOS—FOUNDER of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, and National Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria, UPN, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has asked Nigerians to brace up for years of nightmares, if they fail to re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 polls.

Speaking at his Century Hotels, Okota office, while receiving Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs, Hon. Kingsley Kuku, yesterday, Fasehun said Jonathan deserves re-election on account of his achievements since coming to power.

He recalled the reign of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) as military Head of State and said he would not like to experience it again.

jona-buhariAssuring that OPC members will embark on house-to-house mobilisation for President Jonathan and ensure that he gets another four-year term, Fasehun said: ‘’I have been under the military before. Leopards don’t change their spots. What baffles me is Buhari has guts to attempt governing Nigeria again. It will not come to pass. When he came to power in 1984, he asked political leaders to report at the nearest police station. Many of them died in detention. That is the man who wants to come back to rule Nigeria. I don’t want to experience Buhari again. Four years of Buhari will be four years of nightmares.”

Apart from his achievements, Fasehun said he would mobilise for Jonathan because he has refused to abuse his presidential powers unlike some of his predecessors.

He said: ‘’For five years no Nigerian has been sentenced (extra-judicially) outside the courts. Jonathan is a democracy addict. He takes criticisms in his strides. We will work and ensure Jonathan gets four more years. Let Mr. President be rest assured that in this part of the country (South-West), any contestant with him will lose his deposit. We must go round from hamlet to village, from town to cities campaigning for Jonathan. Let us not lose the opportunity to enjoy Jonathan’s administration further. If we did, we will regret it.’’

Following the spate of recent successes recorded by troops against Boko Haram insurgents in the north eastern parts of the country, Nigerian troops have been put on red alert for any insurgents’ leader bearing the name of Imam Abubakar Shekau who is believed to be desperately looking for escape routes.

A senior military source however, informed PRNigeria that troops have been urged to try at all costs to capture Shekau alive so that he would face justice.

On at least two occasions now, troops have claimwd to have killed characters calling themselves Abubakar Shekau in videos but the insurgents have allegedly managed to find other individuals looking like him in pretense that the Boko Haram leader is still alive.

The order to catch Shekau alive is therefore to ensure that it will no longer be possible to resort to the same trick.

The rumour about Shekau’s invincibility is reportedly one of the factors that troops are afraid to confront the Boko Haram terrorists.

Meanwhile, troops’ morale has been greatly boosted in recent times by arrival of sophisticated armaments and the decision of senior military officers to lead the war against terror directly which also influenced the change of some commanders.

An intelligence sources disclosed that some of the successes recorded in recovery of big towns in the North-East were due to deployment of new strategies, improved disciplinary measures, and sincerity of participating countries in the regional alliance and the acquisitions of latest equipment.

In the past, Colonels have led direct attacks on Boko Haram in accordance with military tradition but because of the large scale desertions recorded, Military Generals then decided to directly lead the war and this has greatly boosted morale.

It was even learnt that many of the troops that earlier deserted have returned while others have expressed desire to return to the front.

Within a week of the massive operation, the troops have recovered Monguno, Marte, Gamboru Ngala, Dikwa among other big towns and several surrounding communities in Borno State from Boko Haram.

The source added that, “with acquisition of new equipment from various sources and the specialised training of the troops on guerrilla warfare, the military indirectly called the bluff of some deceptive western countries who are now trying to save face by claiming to work with our neighbours.

“The effective collaboration and mutual relationship with our neighbours is paying off as they now realise that inactions can pose disasters to their countries too,” he concluded.

What will be the case if Buhari is to suddenly kick the bucket, will the northern caucus agree for Osinbanjo to step in as the main flag bearer and then nominate a northern deputy to fill in their slot?

Since being nominated as the vice presidential candidate for the APC, Osinbanjo is automatically next in line to fill the presidential candidature if Buhari is to finally kick the bucket.

Will the northern bloc of the APC go ahead with an Osinbanjo candidate or will they demand for another convention or insist that the runner up to Buhari in the APC presidential convention (Kwankwaso) be allowed to be the chief broom wielder?

How will the southwest react to such since technically, Osinbanjo is Buhari's deputy and the ticket should automatically go to him, but I am very certain the northern bloc will insist that Osinbanjo never contested the primaries but was only nominated To the position.

Disclaimer: I don't wish Buhari to die that position has since gone to the duo of tinubu and Obasanjo. I am just playing out a scenario.
