Politics / Re: PDP To Adeosun: Apologise To Nigerians For Your Insensitive Comment On Recession by Basillona(m): 10:32am On Sep 02, 2016
GMBuhari:
How will her apology to Nigerians undo the 16 years of PDP Misrule ??

How will that return 20B loot of the former minister of petroleum

or the 2.1B Dasuki shared

or the 40B in one of Tompolo's bank account ??

PDP Should be ashamed of even asking anyone to do anything to appease Nigerians

Let PDP start bu begging Nigerians and stop issuing stupid statements especially since we don't know which PDP wants the begging

Is it the Sheriff Boko haram faction or the other one , or the youths ??

Rubbish

The problem is we are still looking at PDP when more than 50% of APC is made up of PDP members that ruled the country within the last 16yrs. Party affiliations aside don't u think Adeosun's comment is insensitive, last week 1,200 Arik staff lost their jobs, 4.5m peeps have lost their jobs in the last 15mths and someone comes up to say recession is just a word. Even if u are living fine put urself in their shoes, what wld be ur response??

So this is the best these mofos can do? run back to the very CIA spy that destroyed our economy to this extent?

Yes, the present government is clueless, but does it mean we have no other economists that are better that the destroyer to take our economy forward?

It's a pity tribalism has really blinded us to the fact that this woman suppervised the economy that started borrowing to pay government workers. The very same woman that supervised the looting of our patrimony and wasnt patriotic enough to even resign at the least from her post as a protest against the mindless looting that went on under her. Even if she could not voice out.

it's really pathetic.

Using short term borrowing to meet short term expenses like salaries, consumables is allowable in finance. The problem would be if you collect IMF loans to pay salary but using borrowings from Treasury Bills to pay salaries is OK. How many of the lootings have been linked to her or even her approval. This lady made it to the final stage on world bank president recruitment. She publicly gave advises (fuel subsidy, Sovereign Wealth Fund) that were ignored and if implemented would have seen us out of this tough times. Sentiments aside she deserves our respect.
