It is crazy, because i doubt Nigeria has more than 50 medical schools. Each medical school need to churn out average of 100 graduates yearly.

Chunning out doctor's like it's a military recruitment scheme, how many Nigerian youths are even keen on studying medicine or have the brain capacity and patience to see through a 6-7 years excruciating educational program.
