In 2021, when I first started attending FUNAAB, I was working as a front-end developer for a pharmacy called TechieHealth. One day, there was a power outage in my area, and I had to go to a mosque in the neighbouring community, which was a 20-minute walk away, to charge and use my PC. Unfortunately, the network there was much weaker than the one in my apartment, where I had to keep moving the Pocket WiFi to get a stronger signal.

As a response to this and other challenging experiences, my partners and I decided to create a Tech Hub/Workstation in Abeokuta. The aim was to cater to the needs of creatives and techies, especially students enrolled at FUNAAB. After four months of hard work and dedication, we successfully launched our new workspace. It features individual workstations, a co-working area, and a conference room. We offer fast, unlimited internet access and operate from 8 am to 8 pm daily.

Our Tech Hub is designed to provide a comfortable, supportive environment for individuals and teams to thrive and achieve their goals.
