The real cost drivers are the import duty, freight, clearing and distribution. Let us stop this myopic nature. As someone who has been to China severally, spent long time there and have very close Chinese friends and even , I am telling you that yes some Chinese will sell things cheaper to you than Nigerian importers because Chinese government do support them massively to export to different markets through massive low interest and in some areas zero interest loans plus discounted shipping via Cosco and free export duty from China which your Nigerian importers or Igbo importers as you prefer to term them don't get, so those Chinese will definitely sell at lower price to consumers because it's a well planned scheme being sponsored by Chinese government to push out more Chinese made products direct to consumers around the world using Chinese merchants empowered and sponsored by the Chinese government to empower more Chinese so that China can end poverty in China and gradually take over global trade and markets. Chinese citizens that want to do trading even have access to buy now in bulk and pay later opportunities that your Nigerian importers don't have.


It's beyond what you can comprehend or argue.


Chinese government also send out condemned Chinese prisoners to African countries to work with CCCC as a way of paying for their crimes while Russia send theirs to the warfronts to fight Ukraine. These countries do a lot to keep their homeland and citizens empowered.

The reality is that there's is no economic law that says producers can't sell directly to final consumers especially in situations where the retailers and wholesalers are being greedy n using price as a weapon.

How can u triple the price of goods simply because u want to make money irrespective of how hard it is for people to buy, u don't care about the economic inconvenience of the final consumers but u care about how to make triple n rip them off.

Every consumer wants a price friendly market, how can u buy a market for 30k and sell for 120k and someone is offering to sell at 40k and u want government to chase them away.


The reality those miscreants must face is that Chinese are here to stay, enough of the extortion n using price as weapon of politics.

See let me tell you an honest truth.
I have lived 90% of my 40+ yrs in Lagos.
And I have 60% of Yoruba friends/colleagues and 40% of other tribes which includes my tribes the Igbos.
I can tell you without mincing words that 50-60% of Yorubas I have interact with have always praised the Igbos for uplifting them in their businesses or patronage to their various artisan jobs.
I don't like boasting about it, but people like you tends to make someone talk about it.
If you come across me face to face, the first tribe you will guess I came from is Yoruba or Hausa. Igbo will be the last you will think of. That's to tell you I hardly let anyone know I am an Igbo guy.
