The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed the citizenry. The declaration followed the increasing insecurity in the country. CBCN President, Archbishop Augustine Obiora, in a press release on Tuesday, also condemned corruption scandals and the state of the economy. The cleric insisted that Buhari had disappointed everyone who believed that he would deliver on his promises. On killings, Obiora told politicians not to trivalise the situation and demanded that incessant attacks and loss of lives stop immediately. CBCN said their hearts “are bleeding, and are more troubled when we hear of the massacre presently going on in Southern Kaduna. We want all the people suffering the incessant attacks in Southern Kaduna to know that all Catholics in Nigeria are praying for them.” It urged the federal government to punish penetrators, adding that massacres does not help to further the agenda of any religious ideology or the ambition of any politician. The body warned that there will never be sustained development if violence continued. It condemned the unabated bloodshed of innocent people by religious fundamentalists without any recourse to justice for the victims. CBCN reminded Nigerians that the Buhari government came to power with a promise to eradicate corruption, secure lives and property, and rapidly grow the economy It listed others as the creation of jobs, an enabling environment that boosts the private sector, a significant increase in the supply of electricity, affordable and quality health care, and the revamping of the education sector. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed to retaliate for recent killings in the Aziko community of Bayelsa State. Suspected herdsmen killed a pregnant woman, her husband and others. In a statement on Tuesday, IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, threatened that the group would retaliate. Powerful said what is happening in Southern Kaduna “where herdsmen, Boko Haram, bandits and other groups are slaughtering innocent Christians without any hoot by the government is an indication that Nigeria is already a failed state.” The official declared that IPOB, “is ready to repel them from Biafra land no matter the cost.” He condemned the, “atrocity and the persistent killings in Biafra land. We assure the perpetrators of this heinous crime and their sponsors that they will regret their actions very soon.” Powerful wondered why the world “is still keeping quiet over the ongoing genocide in Biafra land.” He noted that, “herdsmen footsoldiers and their sponsors behind this evil will never go unpunished.” IPOB said they would not allow “blood suckers to go free with these barbaric killings. We won’t allow these vampires to replicate their atrocities in Southern Kaduna in any part of Biafraland.” The statement warned that, “no part of Biafra or even the country will be a safe haven for them anytime we start paying them back in their own coin.” IPOB stressed that the present generation of Biafrans was not the same as those of 1967 and 1970. It urged Biafrans to be prepared, “because the right time for revenge is fast approaching, their continued mayhem must be resisted.” More News: https://crowdbae..com |
“We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions,” he said in a press conference on Monday. “Last summer we adjusted the salary to the performance development of Jadon. In this context, we have extended the contract until 2023.” You get a real sense of deja vu when you start thinking about the current Sancho situation. This is not the first time Zorc has come out publicly and said one of Dortmund’s star players is not for sale amid interest from a European giant. The same happened in the summer of 2017 when Barcelona were pushing hard to sign Ousmane Dembele. Following a stunning maiden campaign at the Westfalenstadion, the then 20-year-old forward was attracting interest from Barca, and also Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. When asked if Demebele would be sold in July 2017, Zorc told Die Welt: “No way. What we’ve seen [from him] was extraordinary, both in his value for the team and his development. “You always get the feeling he can do something special, make the difference. He can decide games by himself, even those games he’s not really involved in.” A month earlier, Zorc was also quoted as saying: “Ousmane Dembele has a long-term contract [until 2021] and we are making definite plans with him. “There are no negotiations [with Barca]. Ousmane is going to be playing for Dortmund in the coming season.” But despite all this talk, Dembele did leave BVB. On August 28, 2017 the France international joined Barcelona in a mega-money deal worth £135.5m. Barca stumped up the cash to get their top target, and they inserted a mouthwatering release clause of £369.6m into Dembele’s Camp Nou contract! The lesson to learn from this? Action speak louder than words. Dortmund chiefs may be insisting Sancho will be with them next season, but history shows that if United match BVB’s £108m asking price, there is nothing to suggest the deal will not go through. Manchester United’s pursuit of Sancho is set to rumble on, and don’t be surprised if this one drags all the way to deadline day in October. [url]More Sports News: https://crowdbae..com[/url]

At the same time, alcohol makes it harder for you to sleep unless you’re drinking enough that you’re passing out. With less sleep, you’ll feel your pain more, so try to cut down on your alcohol consumption. Learn to Meditate Meditation is also one of the better ways to hold your chronic pain at bay. Meditation: Improves your power over what your body feels Is something that has helped people manage pain for thousands of years You can learn how to breathe mindfully and meditate by downloading apps that teach you. You can also contact a yogi for a private lesson, or you can take some yoga classes that emphasize meditation and pain management techniques. You can do guided meditation or just let your mind drift as you focus on your breathing. It’s all about what can make you feel the most comfortable. Exercise However it happens, though, you need to figure out a way to soldier through it. Exercise can be one thing that helps you. When you exercise, that releases endorphins. These are feel-good chemicals that block your body’s pain signals. Exercise also strengthens different muscle groups, which can help alleviate some kinds of chronic pain. However, depending on your pain’s nature, there are some exercises that you probably won’t be able to do. If you want to try and figure out a routine that you can attempt, it might help to contact a physical therapist. They can develop a workout routine for you that should strike a balance between strengthening your muscles while also not aggravating your condition. Quit Smoking There are always plenty of excellent reasons to quit smoking. Smoking exacerbates chronic pain in many instances, so that should be a significant incentive for you. If you’re having trouble quitting smoking, then talk to your doctor about it. They might put you on nicotine patches or gum. There are also drugs they can put you on now, which can help you. There are more ways than ever before to quit smoking, so don’t despair. Also, if there is less stress in your life, you won’t be so tempted to smoke. Get Rid of Stress Stress also intensifies chronic pain, as many doctors can tell you. If you cut stress from your life, then it will do you a lot of good on the pain front. If there are some individuals in your life who you don’t want to see, then there is no reason that you have to. If your job stresses you out, attempt to find something else to do to make money.
