PoliticsRe: ANOTHER HISTORIC WIN: Nigeria Posts ₦5.17 Trillion Trade Surplus Under Tinubu by Baxilexi(m):
While this is commendable, I’d like to see the report, especially in the area of non oil exports. Perhaps certain unreported commodities are now being documented, meaning that the cash flow will remain the same, we’re just now more aware of it. And it’s been streamlined to benefit a few private individuals.

How much did the Nigerian solid minerals industry generate?

As for reduced imports, it could be one of two things, local substitutes have replaced foreign goods, or people are just damn broke and can’t afford much.

My question is, through what avenue is the government using all these excess ‘funds’ to better the lives of the people. We’ve had social investment programs such as PTF, (SWF, ECA, SURE-P, YouWIN), what’s the name of this administration’s social investment program?

PoliticsRe: Terrorists Ambush Soldiers In Borno, Kill Battalion Commander by Baxilexi(m): 5:17am On Oct 21, 2025
The presidency was given a list of bokoharam sponsors but have done nothing with it.
Governors now beg and induce terrorist to make peace,
A pastor reported that the NA had to take permission from BH to recover the bodies of his slain members.

And yet a presidential aide claims NK’s lawyer is in error of sub-judice. As much as I would like to stay away from the NK case, the government has shown its double standards. We’ve been buying and donating weapons to these marauders/murderers and yet we don’t think that our leaders are guilty of treason? Aiding and abetting criminals. Chad, had offered to help us with the insurgence we refused. Use Kid gloves for BH and an iron fist for IPOB.

When the time comes the GCON, CON and other honorary titles bestowed on complicit leaders will be withdrawn and both living and dead will pay a lofty price.

@OP, do a better job of sharing the whole truth.

Education is needed in Nigeria as people divorce deductive reasoning and embrace propaganda wholesomely. The word genocide has been abused. I say this again, Israel’s campaign against the houthis, hezbollah, IRGC, only targeted enemies not civilians, why is Gaza different? Why waste rockets costing thousands of USD when they’re cheaper ways to commit a true genocide?

For those who don’t know what a genocide is…
“In just 100 days in 1994, about 800,000 people were slaughtered in Rwanda by ethnic Hutu extremists. They were targeting members of the minority Tutsi community, as well as their political opponents, irrespective of their ethnic origin.“

The solution is simple, engage all NGOs, activists (flotilla people) and prosecutors of Israel to enter Gaza, and reorientate Hamas, to be peace loving.

If they succeed they’d be given Nobel prices.

Naah, you can’t twist the facts friend. Supreme leader shat himself. Even marked his grave. And I can almost say with all certainty that America prevented Israel from taking him out. If the former president mysteriously died in a helicopter crash and generals were taken out like wack a mole, my conspiracy theory is that someone saved his life.

@OP, watch the documentary fallujah of Iraq, and others like it. It’s a recount of the experiences faced by US soldiers in Iraq. Fighting extremism/terrorism is a daunting task because new people are indoctrinated daily, plus you’ve got overt and covert operatives. No civilians.

What you should understand is that’s these guys are not an army, they’re anywhere and everywhere. They can use women and children, similar to boko haram. So Israel’s only play was to eliminate top officials and sponsors. But Hamas is an ideology that one day Israel would be wiped off the face of the earth. And that’s why the war theatre just moved from ground to intelligence.

Till date Iran is still shocked about how porous their defense was, the humiliation of a supreme leader hiding meters under earth will forever put a dent in his image.

Mali is not in the weight category to retaliate, your economy will be vaporized.

Just imagine a sanction that prohibits your banks from swift transfer, restricts telecoms/internet services and cloud services. Just this, mind you, there’s nothing Mali can offer the US that Nigeria doesn’t have.

Gold that has been rising since he took office or another one?
Let me try to explain it as simple as I can, Gold trades against USD, the US has the biggest gold reserve. So you’re baited with an illusory rise in value, and you convert your local currency with hopes that you can sell your gold for greater forex, but bam, it’s crashes one day, lower that what you bought it for, the US still holds its gold reserve, and investors funds.

The big question then is, will you continue playing? Or fold? Why do you think gold charts are so sporadic?

The more bitcoin crashes the lesser the US treasury commitment. It’s mopped up USD globally with zero effort.

The US is trying to reduce its debt. I’m surprised people think DJT is dumb, stupid people don’t become billionaires.
Every move he has made since day 1 in office is a master stroke.
If he tanks the cost of Gold he has my absolute respect. That way the financial commitment will reduce drastically.

Then you don't seems to know Islam. It has been over a little over 1,400 years now and Islam has never nor will never jettison the Shariah. Christianity looks tolerant to transgression of the Laws in the Bible and apply man's solution to such. Islam will always use the Shariah.

I am sure that's what you meant by Tolerance.
The Jews have the halakha, more stringent than the sharia but in today’s world most of the ‘inhumane’ practices have been done away with.

So Islam will get there, it’s only a matter of time.

In any case, what obtain in Saudi Arabia doesn't define Islam but rather what the Quran and the Prophetic Traditions says.
Looking like Christianity in regards to tolerance, questioning extant practices, and letting God be the ultimate judge and not man amongst others. These are not western but Christian practices, such as the sun shines on both the good and bad and God permits it, or let the weed and the wrath grow together, they shall be judged on the last day. And so many teachings…

You may be right to some extent regarding some African religion practices but if you ask me I think it has more to do with individual and ancestral methods passed down......they maintain these practices because they are scared of repercussions from the deities they worship as warned by those who passed it down to them.....If they had enough lQ and they understand how life and spirituality works they will realize that these things can be changed to a way they'll be more acceptable and not barbaric.

Also...there are some African tribes whose belief system despises evil and these barbarism.

All in all the black race needs to evolve in their way of thinking and doing things.....just see what they're still doing with the Christianity despite the way is it well doctored....from those using it to enrich themselves at the detriment of others to those using it for politics to those using it to cover their dirty Money etc....to show you that the wickedness and other vices is inbuilt.

Humans(Individual) chose to be wicked or good and thus attracts spirits that will help them achieve what they do desire....those practicing wicked way of worship chose it that way and vice versa. The laws of Nature is constant....the rest is left to humans individually or collectively to handle.
Well said! Your submission is akin to stoicism.
This was why Christianity was readily accepted in Europe because it aligned with stoic values.

Yes. My preceding argument will be flawed to disagree. Their methods maybe crude at times, but it being an off shoot of the Abrahamic religions validates the potency of the former.

My belief is, in 300 years, Islam would look very much like the Christianity of today, and Saudi has set the tone by relaxing radical practices.

Good question, now you understand how belief systems empowers conquest. If the Chinese ever so desire to expand their territory they may succeed and we will all become Confucianist, Taoist, or Buddhist. Which is not really a religion but a school of thought.

How has our traditional religions helped, kept us worshipping trees and rivers while cannons and ships were being built in other parts of the world. It’s hard to accept but our gods were lesser, ethereal beings.

We are here now, as the present, future and someone’s ancestors. And if I could leave a message in a bottle I’d tell my progeny that they should follow a religion that supports peace, love, righteousness and forgiveness. Steer clear of anyone that takes you to the river, or demands human sacrifice.

Christians and justifications.

So, Christianity was spread with brutes force yet it is Islam that the same Europeans have us believed was spread by the Sword.

No be so?
There’s a difference between going to war with the banner of Christ and a jihad. When the colonial empires acquired territories the aim wasn’t to spread religion which inadvertently happened, but rather for resources and human trafficking. The point is, their faith made them victors against their adversaries backed by other gods. So we can theorize that the religion works.

Everyone inherited religion and I must applaud His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for saying the truth.

Henceforth, we must desist from doing same to our children. Brainwashing them with sky daddy stories about how a man died for their sins in the Middle East.

We must start introducing them to the marvels of science and technology and how it transitioned, and the possible future.

The notion of stuffing the brains of young kids with fictional religious stories must stop if the country intends to be competitive in the future.

Religious studies should be banned in all primary and tertiary institutions. We can’t keep telling kids how a man used one fish and a loaf to feed 40,000 people. It’s utmost stupidity.
Firstly, you somehow took the opportunity to vilify Christianity, which is quite disrespectful and intolerant. Everyone should have the right to religion, but should never use it as an instrument of violence or cohesion. You’re not a scientist hence your ignorance to the argument/validity of the God factor. One of them is called ‘God of gaps’. There are so many constants in science like gravity, that is too precise to be coincidental.

Secondly, you should understand that Christianity was never accepted with open hands, it wasn’t a white-man’s religion as oftentimes parroted. It was a force that couldn’t be stopped, martyrs loved not themselves even unto death, and whichever nation fought in the name of Christ overcame.
Europe was a pagan nation but were overcome by Christianity.
England was very pagan, same with Italy (people like Girolamo Savonarola), the Dutch - Norse Gods couldn’t save them when Christianity came to their door steps, same as the Aztecs.
Down to Africa, our shameless idols, ifa, ogun, ekpe, sango, olokun etc were powerless in the face of Christianity.

Science is about the works of God, religion is about the person of God and both should remain pillars of the Nigerian society.

PS., these politicians are diabolical, don’t be naive to think Tinubu believes in Charles Darwin.

Let’s try this approach…

Israel vs Iran;
IRGC killed, civilian deaths (none)

Israel vs Houthi;
Houthi rebels killed, civilian deaths (N/A)

Israel vs Qatar;
Hamas leader killed, civilian deaths (N/A)

Israel vs Hezbollah;
Hezbollah fighters killed, civilian deaths (N/A)

I could go on and on but the patterns show that what’s happening in Gaza with women and children is unintentional and collateral damage.
Hamas is the most cowardly group ever, other rebels fight head on, they hide and launch attacks, draw a damn battle line and go toe to toe, death would be the definite outcome but at least you guys would go down as martyrs in the unholy book of jihadists.

War: a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country.

Genocide: the deliberate and systematic killing or persecution of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

Are there Palestinians living in Israel? Yes
Has Israel used sarin gas as Assad did against the people of Syria? No.
Has Israel done what China did to the uyghur? No.
Does Hamas want to war to end without their demands met? No.
Is Hamas armed? Yes

Can someone define genocide for me using the Hamas dictionary?

Hopefully it comes to fruition.

I’ve seen people say Nigerians de-market their country, such folly.

I know of another financial organization that has blacklisted Nigeria for investors. Currently we are in a high risk zone.
Nigeria has the population to host the production plants of major fashion brands like India and Bangladesh, or electronic assembly plants like China but vague and unstable financial policies have bedeviled us.

Also, the president making feeble attempts at reforms while pandering to the will of political players, and making uninformed financial decisions is a no-no for any investors, they like to read patterns and trend. Forecasting where necessary and Nigeria at this time doesn’t afford such.

Just imagine if the portharcourt and Warri refineries attracted foreign investments.
