Hi Nairalanders,
I &my family had our interview in Lagos few WEEKS ago and it went thus:
vo: gud morning
we: gud morning
vo: passport please
Me: gave all our passports (3passports I, wife & daughter)
vo: why are you going to us?
Me: for family re-union and gave further reasons with address of wr we are going
vo: what do you do for living
Me: I work with bla bla as bla bla. . .(said few things about my duties in office here &she cuts in and face my wife)
vo: where do you work madam
wife: I work with bla bla as a senior nursing officer (added few of her duties also) this we practiced so as to not gv room for her to ask abt our duties again
vo: how long av you 2 married
we: its exactly 3yrs 6months now (chorus) and I further stated d date even though I stuttered a little hr
vo: do you av another kid
we: no we don't with a smile(chorus)
vo: av u travelled out of nigeria b4 (directed at me I blv)
Me: no i haven't bt my wife has bn 2ghana for 4days nursing programm (wife chipped in to discuss details abt d conference)
vo: unfortunately you do not av strong ties to bla bla...&she brought out d blue paper
we: thank you

Please note the following
1. We were invited by my brother inlaw (us citizen& a military personnel) for indeed family reunion whom had already sent a copy of invitation to d embasy prior to our appearance
2. I am an IT manager ind place i work with 500+k monthly salary
3. My wife is also a senior nursing officer with Lagos state
4. Two weeks to our interview I had an accident that got me fracture on my ankle hence, was interview with crutches on (though deem it not necessary to b stated)

Here are my questions:
1. What question didn't we answer well among those
2. Can we re-apply by June ds yr(my family &my bro inlaw's really wish 2b 2gether during this summer).
We are looking at going to tanzanian for 10days vacation b4 d end of April just to build up our travelling history.
Each of us has 6wks for our annual leave.
