Of late I've been having pin pricks around my body. What could be responsible and what can I do.

hi, am also having the same symptoms its been on for a month, pin pricks and it affects my sleep and at times muscle moves. I just hope on Jesus my healer.

The pins and pricks in your hands, legs and back could be due to a variety of conditions ranging from Diabetes Mellitus, Back/Spinal cord injury, Abnormal calcium levels, Abnormal Vitamin levels, Thyroid condition etc

But I'll be straight to the point here.

1)You have a previous history of rickets. What do you think caused it? How was it managed? How is your Vitamin D intake?

2) There's the possibility of diabetes mellitus. You're 20 so this narrows it to Type 1 most likely.

3) Your feeling of warmth and inability to sleep(probably due to the discomfort) could point to an inactive thyroid. You may need to do a thyroid hormone assay.

4) Have you ever had a back injury?

In the past one month, have you had fatigue /loss of energy, hair loss, dry skin, weakness, constipation, blurred vision, fullness in the throat, decreased hearing, weight gain?

increased appetite, increased thirst, increased passing of urine, noticed your urine is foamy? Do you have a history of Diabetes mellitus in your family?

Muscle cramps, wheezing, painful swallowing?

Have u noticed some personality changes? Depression?

Are you on any medication- within the last one month?

Do you take substance ( cocaine or the stuff) or alcohol ?

thanks for the reply, my family have no history of diabetics and i had rickets at age 2 which was treated and i was ok up till now. the doctors i have met so far have been giving me vitamin b complex and meta b-fort i have also done blood sugar test and it was ok.
