The President’s plane landed at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, at 10.30am. From there the President proceeded to Abakaliki, to begin his 2-day working visit to Ebonyi and Anambra States
On arrival in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, President Buhari inaugurated a number of road projects; including two Flyovers on the section of the African Trans-Saharan Highway that runs between Enugu and Cameroon.
The Governors of Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo and Kogi were present at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu to welcome the President to the southeast, where he was given the following titles of Enyioma 1 of Ebonyi and Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1.

The Pan African Scholarship Scheme (PASS) is social developmental tool for Free University Scholarship Fund (aka the Free University of Nigeria). Free University Scholarship Fund is a registered Community based organisation (CBO) for education and social development at grassroots and inter-community levels. The founders comprise of amazing group of community managers whose sole interest have been established in making access to higher education easy and affordable to the under-served students in the society. Our target includes students who do not receive equitable resources as other students in the academic pipeline. Typically, these groups of students include low-income, underrepresented, racial/ethnic minorities, and first generation students as well as many others.

The Free University Scholarship Fund also issued merit-based scholarships through its African Excellence Awards Program to deserving youths entering the university for the first time.
