Miss South Africa, Mia le Roux, has officially set off for Mexico on Sunday to compete in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant on 16 November.

Le Roux will make history as the first-ever deaf contestant to represent South Africa at the pageant, on a mission to showcase the country’s diversity as well as to promote inclusivity on the global stage.

Nigeria is a very finished country and you won't understand until you leave the country and see how things are done abroad.

How can you grant someone bail, release his passport and expect him not to travel?
If permission was never given to travel, why release the guy in the first place?

Dear everyone, please, i won't be doing this if only there's a glimmer of hope. please forgive me, but it seems that I have no choice. I'm typing this with tears in my eyes and with a very heavy heart. I'm doing this for my little girl who is asthmatic, I have exhausted my savings to buy her Seretide inhaler but at this point it has become too expensive to afford.
