FKO81: Keep nursing your wounds More revelations
In 2015, the Federal Government intervened, with a bailout 7 package of NGN 338 billion to 27 states (including Edo, Ogun and Niger), to ensure employee salary obligations were met. In 2016, another bailout fund of NGN 90 billion was created but this time with stringent conditions intended to enforce fiscal responsibility within the states. Most states continue to look to ad hoc disbursements from the Federal Government to ease their fiscal challenges. As part of efforts to improve resilience in the states, DFID is working with Edo, Ogun and Niger States, providing technical assistance for tax harmonisation aimed at improving collection processes and transparency
with your high IGR Brother....please leave this Afonjas dudes, they have had a lot today,..Today happens to be very bad for Afonjas..... Please let's allow them to celebrate their salah in peace.... |

BabaRamota1980: Ibo's agenda to rob Yoruba of wealth and profit has been around before you were born. Those who started ended in eternal disgrace. Midwest was carved out to break West because yanminri thought without gains the progress and growth of Yoruba will dwindle and they will be forced to bow to others in the political arena. In less than ten years after the divestiture Midwest rose in opposition to Biafra.
Yoruba's progress has leapt instead of dwindle. Those who have oil wealth in abundance and profit from its production are far behind Yorubaland. Perharps if they had not left West they would be partners in the growth and progress on record by the Oodua States.
Yorubaland truly does not need oil profit to be great. We were great before oil, our greatness did not stop during oil glut, our advancement continues even when ownership of oil has turned out to be a curse. If you want give every oil field in Ondo to Ijaw, how does it improve their lives and well being? Its not who owns the oil that matters, but the strategy to use the oil as a political tool to better yourself and improve your worth. If oil ownership translates to greatness, Bayelsa should be the fore leading land in West Africa, but where is Bayelsa on account of itself.
If Yoruba owned the oil in Bayelsa we would have reproduced several Dubais in several cities of coastal Nigeria. Maybe Bayelsa need to consult with Yoruba on how to be great, instead of planting terrorists in its guest house in Ajegunle.
Omo alhaja say check my grillz, it bounces light and make you dizzy. BAYELSA state is far better than OSUN, ONDO, OYO, EKITI and OGUN.... |

akintadetope: 9 oil producing states in Nigeria according to the quantity of oil produced in barrels. 1. Akwa Ibom – 504,000 barrels per day (1st) 2. Delta – 346,000 bpd (2nd) 3. Rivers – 344,000 bpd (3rd) 4. Bayelsa – 290,000 bpd (4th) 5. Ondo – 60,000 bpd (5th) 6. Lagos – 40,000 bpd (6th) 7. Edo – 33,000 bpd (7th) 8. Imo – 17, 000 bpd (8th) 9. Abia – 11,000 bpd (9th) Note: i. Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, produces 90.1% of Nigeria’s total crude oil. ii. Oil wells in Cross River were ceded to Akwa Ibom after Cameroon took over Bakassi. as you can see summation of imo and abia is not up to half of what Ondo is producing Imagine the rubbish you typed |
