Joe put his phone in his jogging pants and made his way into the house. He went straight to the kitchen to get a bottle of water but on getting there he forgot his mission. Bolu was busy chopping something on the chop board. He could not get his head off her since when she came to the house. She was the first girl he would ever see beautiful without make up. Since he had started dating he had never dated a girl that dint wear make up. She was beautiful as a sunflower,with full succulent lips,hazel eyes and a perfect shape. Even a blind man could see that she was hour glass with the baggy gown she wore. He stood there for like five minutes and he dint know he was there. She opened the top cabinet to take a bowl and could not reach it. He tip toed behind her put his hand across her waist and the left one in the cabinet. She was startled and she turned back immediately with his and around her waist she had no where to go and he put down the bowl. He looked down at her lips and without thinking he kissed her. She was dump founded but she kissed him back. Her mum used to give her light kisses but it was not like this. Her body responded to the kiss and filled her with joy she locked her hands behind his neck and drew him closer. He put his hand behind her and carried her up the table and as he wanted to cup her breast a sound of someone coughing came from the door way and they broke apart .
"Did i interrupt anything"Daniel said with a smirk on his lips. Bolu got down from the table and turned to what she was doing in embarrassment .
"Hey guy,awfa na"Joe said going to meet his naughty friend acting as if nothing happened
"Nothing is far oo"Daniel said walking into the mini sitting room with Joe

Interesting story, watch the way you use pronouns, I assume the first person I should only be used for the main character Tolu, also the development of the story drifted at the second death, I became quite disconnected at that point...Nice start.

"yes sir"Daniel did not know what to do and dint know what came over his father after he got a divorce with his mother he became a really strict man.He didnt know what happened btw them but he knew his mum really broke his father's heart .Hhe was going to leave his chicks and girlfriends here.SHIT!!!. Well he had no option than to obey his father

So as to spend a lot of time with her mother.Now the only person that made her happy was gone.She and her dad were not close at all.The only thing that her father did for her was to check her results and give her excessive money but he never even gave her what she really needed.LOVE.All the affection he had was for her mother.
Early that morning her father had told her that she had gained admission at a private university and would be resuming next month.She immediately went to break the news to her mother.She was so proud of her and she said that her lovely child was going to become a great woman and that was the last thing she heard from her mother before she died.She had also given her an envelope telling her to open it when she got married.
A sound from the gate attracted her and she went to the window to check what was going on outside.She saw has five cars entered the compound and different people dressed in igbo attire came out of the cars.Two hefty men came down from the last car holding a digger and a spade.They were the ones that were going to bury her mother. she changed her blue afternoon flower dress and put on her black dress and a black scarf covering her dreadlocks she made the day before.Before going to join them she packed the envelop on her ward-rope and closed the door after her.

She watched has her father held her fragile body in his arms crying. The glass of water she held in her hands fell and broke on the floor. She was speechless and dint know what to do. She tried to cry or laugh but no sound came out from her mouth. She was both sad and happy. Happy that it relived her of the pain and sad that she loved her mother and she is dead. She was the only one that brought a smile to her face..her father didnt have time for her. Her father looked at her from where he held his wife. He layed her on the bed and used a cover cloth to cover her body. He came over to her and pulled her into a hug. He pulled her from the room and closed the door.
"Theresa, your mother is gone for good and we both know that its the best thing for her"He said taking me out of the room and closing it. He took me back to my room and closing it behind him.
In their culture,when some one dies he or she had to be buried immediately and she was sure he had started to make arrangements. Her had been sick since when she gave birth to her. Everyday of her life had been sorrowful because there was no day she would not cry for her mother. It was a normal routine to take care of her before she went to school and after school. A nurse usually took over in the afternoon and her dad in the night. After her exams she took the job of taking care of her mother through out the day and she was friendless her only friend was her mother and she was long gone she never related to anyone else everyone in school thought that she was a jerk and she dint mind she was the best in school but she never engaged in any school activities .

Hmmm mind captivatin,i kinda love it.

The news of me starting uni captivated me and i could not hold on to my happiness any longer.when i got to my room i took my pillow and hugged it tight to myself.i had thought that i would have to be finacially stable before i would get to go to the university.i pulled of my shoes and laid down on the bed in excitement .my mind wandered off and i thought of how my mother would have been happy to see my result my mind also wandered off to my joe and stopped there.i wonder why he was looking at me all through and why i had continue to steal glances at him.i wonder why my heart felt like it wanted to jump from its position.i raised my hand and placed it over my chest and my heart was beating as if it ran on a marathon race.i shook the thought away and closed my eye.
