the price of oil is $60 per barrel, if there is peace. we can produce 2,500,000 barrel



While the north would have  1,750,000 barrel a day.

If we find out how much we make with the 70%  per year. the calculation is.


60 x  1,750,000 x 365 days =   38,325,000,000   == $ 38 billion a year.



let the north and igbos have the 70% of the oil.




Now to find how much would nigeria without would be making from both oil and non oil . non oil should be about 11 billion ,

so 38 + 11 bilion is $49 billion

so the north if this bill goes thru would control $49 billion. This is why the northern senate and house of member need to approve the bill.


Take your $49 billion and leave us alone.
you people are making $49 billion and you do not want to leave us alone.

if you look at the derivation look below.

Ondo got 2 billion , Bayelsa 5 billion and delta 4 billion , a total of 11 billion . while the total paid derivation is 34.929 .

if you do a calculation , you divided 11 / 34.929 = 31%

if you minus from 100% , you get about 69% that your people would have in oil, which is nearly 70% of the oil of nigeria. if you remove Ondo, bayelsa and delta state and put them into Benin republic,

So your people are going to make alot. 70% of the oil is okay for you people. So it is the best interest of the north to pass the bill and make themself majority.

The real truth that the north refused to do quickly as soon as possible remove the Yoruba, edo, delta and bayelsa state into benin republic which open two position for jonathan either premier or vice president in benin republic. Is if Yar adua dies very soon. it means that jonathan would use 10 years in office. And the north would have to wait to 2027 before another northerner become president.



This is why the north have to join in the movement to remove the Yorubas, edo, delta and bayelsa state into benin republic
