Education / Jamb Alternative For Those Seeking A Better Quality Education by Beebina: 8:38am On Jan 10, 2015
I see Nigerian students today struggling to gain admission into the university.
And JAMB dealing with them harshly, not because they lack intelligence and feel terrible.

It's so appalling to see smart, sharp kids struggle for 4,5,6,7 or more years to gain a
University admission because JAMB hasn't been so favorable.

My question is why don't you seek alternatives to earn a university degree or
Even a masters without subjecting yourself to that JAMB toil and disappointment.

It still bothers on a lack of accurate information.... IGNORANCE.

Think about it. So many professional bodies offer professional courses that is equivalent to a
BS c. And you don't have to be a graduate to write some of these courses.

For example Public Relations that I did offered by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and BEEC
Accepts students with 5 credits in their O Levels exam (WAEC results) to sit for their foundational basic course.
And thereafter write a professional diploma.
For a serious student you can achieve the diploma within 9 months.

Do you know that you can use that diploma to apply for Masters in 5 Nigerian universities and universities in the UK?
Even if your desire is to still go ahead with a university degree, it gives you a direct entry into 200 level.

Also, for people who have left secondary school a long time ago focusing on business or other matters, can use this
to start off their educational pursuit.

You don't need to waste your time. I and so many others who realized this are using it to get ahead.
Do your research or call me, you can also send a mail if you need more info.

Business / Re: Youwin 4th Edition Is Here by Beebina: 12:34am On Dec 17, 2014
Hello all, I won YOUWIN first edition (remember this was when no one believed in the programe and a lot of mistakes made. We are only priviledge to have won)

this I can tell you, if you know your business well enough to document it in the business plan, you have nothing to fear.
These are my few tips:

1. Choose a business idea you can defend physically. The third round of YOUWIN saw participants invited to Abuja to defend their biz plan.
2. Don't let someone write it on your behalf. Even if they do, be involved with the whole process.
3. Start something small within your business and register as an existing business. Although YOUWIN allows new businesses but coming on the grounds of an existing business is better. You may have to register a simple business name if you have to. It's easy and cheap I tell you.

These are the tips I can think about right now. If you need any help. Ask... I will be glad to help.
Business / Are We Entrepreneurs Or Business Traders? What Do You Say? by Beebina: 3:00pm On Oct 27, 2014
Hello fellow business pals,
Someone once said in Nigeria, we are not really entrepreneurs but business traders"
because entrepreneurs disrupt the ecosystem, they alter cultures and cause changes.

And the challenges of building a genuine business in Nigeria could be very tasking and it leaves
you to just eking a living on a day to day bases.

some of the reason could be that we are a consumer driven country,
new ideas take a long time to catch up,
easy copy cats of business execution,
lack of data etc...
what do you think guys, really would love to hear your thoughts.

Please make it constructive, no jabbing on the govt or other bodies, because of the obvious.... provide a foresee-able solution.
thanks for your humble thoughts.
Business / Re: Please Can I Transfer Money From My Nigeria Bank To Payoneer by Beebina: 2:53pm On Oct 27, 2014
Hello Seyi, I think it could be possible, because payoneer gives you a bank account number,
like you said this could be via an online transfer and I do know I can make online transfer to
foreign bank accounts.
The most important thing to do here is contact payoneer and your bank too.

Whatever happens try and let us know how it worked back here. Cheers!!!

Business / Is Your Website Ruining Your Business? A Peek At What You May Not Know. by Beebina: 11:39pm On Apr 19, 2013
To start a business three essentials are a must have:

These are:
1. A registered business name,
2. A Telephone
3. A functional website.

A business name has been simplified by CAC.
With N5, 000 and if you can stand the hustle you can get it done by yourself.

A telephone here is just the easiest has most of us already have one.
Just make sure its in good working condition. It doesn't have to be high price,
or smart phone. Just as long as you can communicate with the device.

But that cannot be said of a functional website. Note that the
important word here is functional.
Because a website is supposed to be a marketing tool.
But a lot of business owners outsource their site to web designers
without looking at the marketing aspect.
So, what you get is a website that doesn't help to drive in
business. It may look sleek and beautiful but doesn't convert
visitors to customers.

Just ask yourself:
How many times have you visited a site and clicked away because
you couldn't find the information you were expecting to find?

How many times have you visited a website and you still find
outdated information on it.

Those are some of the simple stuff that can make a business lose customers.

And if you have a website like that this is a clear pointer that your business
may suffer because of it.

From my experience recently, an engineer who knew the job but didn't not have
a functional site lost a client because of this.

Don't let that be your portion.
Submit your site for a free review to discover the marketing
weakness of your site.
Your site will be analysed by a marketing and Chartered Public relations professional.
The service is free so take advantage of it here: http://wiredinn.co
Go sign up now. Its's free and delay is dangerous. What do you have to lose?

Business / Re: I Need Urgent Help With My Company's Website!!!!!! by Beebina: 3:14pm On Apr 13, 2013
I was almost not responding to this post, because its has
received quite a few suggestions that seem to suffice.

I do agree with you when you say you want the best
website to represent your company and do well to
establish your message before your website.
Because so many business owners don't see their
website as a marketing tool. And that just poses
a challenge for their business.

Anyway, your obj as a business will determine how
your website should be built and hat content you need
to use in order to convert your visitors to customers.

Do send me a mail at wiredinn700@gmail.com
I advice entrepreneurs and companies on how to
ensure their site performs as a great marketing tool.
I could help you better understand what it is you need
achieved and the best design flow your site should have.

Here is a video I'd previously shared with entrepreneurs
within a Facebook closed group: http:///websitethatsells
Do take care.
