[quote author=daremum post=64953606]LOL. Guess we have to go direct to you and all other seniors in the house. I Arrived Canada in Less than a week, should I consider filing tax for march or not. There is a huge knowledge gap with Nigerian folks here they seem not to really understand this Tax thing and I heard if I file now there will be some benefits. Everything sounds strange anyways. Please advice... @40manlappy @all seniors [/ https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/international-non-residents/individuals-leaving-entering-canada-non-residents/newcomers-canada-immigrants.html Please check the link above for answers to your questions. |
winter:Personally, I would consider transit time to work in choosing where to live. The LRT runs north to south from Clareview to Century Park so if you work downtown or along that route, I would consider somewhere close to LRT stations. I am kind of hesitant to mention any particular area as there is this debate about the north end of the city versus the south being the best, but my advice is find what works for you and your family. There is the North East, north west, Southeast, southwest and downtown. For shopping, you should be able to find stores or strip malls within 15 minutes from anywhere if you live in the north. I'm not sure about the south. For hospitals, when sick, people generally visit family doctors who have offices all over the place, sometimes only about 5 minutes drive from each other and only go to the emergency room for emergencies. Hospitals are usually for 'serious cases'. |
Canadianfly:The term would be 'semi-monthly' resulting in 24 pay periods in a year.
