yes I have. I have also removed, replaced battery, hard drive and cd rom. disabled/enabled sound since I also cannot get sound on it. I'm going to try removing the sound drivers then readd them next. I'm a PC Technician by trade and have never come across this problem.

IBM laptop has a constant ticking sound coming from right speaker. Exhausted my troubleshooting skills. Please Help
