Okk.. Got this 10k account June last year with the help of samfelly and donsheddy. Today I have successfully breached the max DD rule. It was a real struggle from the beginning to the end

This is third prop challenge I'm failing, the first was the alpha capital free 5k, second is the 5ers $1 5k bootcamp....

Better days ahead Champ, I wanted to chip in on that your 1%risk per trade and you are trading multiple pairs, 0.5% won't be bad brother. It will give you enough time to make and correct mistakes.

If gold takes the low,I will start looking for confirmation to go long, no confirmation no trade.

Nothing annoys me most like missing a trade by 1pip or spreads. It better make I chop SL.

But what I cannot stand is the back to back lies you dish out here. There's no way you would have made a 1:5rr on gold with the way gold was just ranging today. The entry I posted around 7am today with a 30pips SL wouldn't even do a 1:5rr today. So how is it possible that you that entered way later after I had posted when price already moved 30pips further upside had a 1:5rr?

I'm talking too much, show me screenshot of the gold trade you took today that returned 1:5rr and I will send you 20k this night. If you can't, please shut up and stop misleading people here.

This was the entry I posted @7am in the morning, if I let it run throughout, the highest it went was a 1:4rr.

boss I have questions.. pls are you day trading or swing trading?. on average how long does it normally take before your trade hit TP when aiming for 1:3 RR or above? and lastly on average how many trades do you take per week?

Boss I don't swing that's why I focus mainly on Gold, I'm an emotional trader , I consider trading psychology more than any other thing out there, I love to bleed quickly and stop.

Your questions, how long does it take to hit Tp aiming 1:3rr? My position doesn't exceed more than 5-10mins before hitting SL and my TP are always hit between 30 minutes-2hrs maximum, I risk 25pips which is fixed and target 100 pips. Is obvious that 25pips look so small on gold but when you trade on 1m time frame you will realize that 25pips is big.

I'm session trader ,I open shop in London session(8-11am) and if I didn't see anything solid I will wait for New York session(2:30 -6pm). Sometimes I can go all day without taking a trade. But I'm pretty sure I open at least 3-5 position weekly. I trade like almost this moniker @F1re.

Disclaimer, not the best way of trading but I'm pretty I know some good traders making it big scalping, swinging and positioning. The goal is to trade with care free state of mind and make money.

Another thing i noticed, (why me, a prop trading rookie, and personally i am low level gold trader ,) all of my investigated traders said they dont want to know anything happening on gold, Not at all. This should give some insights to some new traders rushing to trade gold. I have my reservations on it. But before you be like me, looking for gold set up to pass a challenge, and eventually crashed like 3 accounts now, because of this, not until recent that i totally avoid it.
I salute those that constantly makes money from it. But to me, gold na one craze guy that smoke all types of hemp together. Not any more for me. gold will give and take more than what it gave you. But if you are trading it with full chest and confidence, constantly making profits, i salute you.

Great insights, let me establish my little understanding about this Xauusd. I don't actually believe the notion that gold gives and takes, why did I said so? I have traded all the forex pairs until I settled for gold.What many of us miss is the basics ( position sizing) for the pass 9 months of trading I don't think I have ever lost more than 0.6% of my account on a single position trading gold, never! So tell me the reason why gold will take all the profits she gave me when I'm shooting for 1:3/4 RR. The problem is proper risk Management, which many of us have neglected. I wish to size up a little bit in the future but not until I have convinced my self that I can't loose 4-5 in a row. For now, I don't think I can trade anything apart from gold (which is biblical) to any tradable assets out there. As a session trader, gold is a bae 😍 ❤️

Subsum no too get wahala, my KYC provider (Veriff) na war. Is either passport or Driver's license, video and audio interview. I just applied for passport and my capturing is next week Thursday, after paying 120k for express 🙃.

Seriously I don't look at the time bro, just enjoy the process, I'm so disciplined that I don't risk more or less than 0.5% on a position, I trade only Xauusd and sometimes Nas100 in NQ session. The last 2 challenges I had did not take more than 7 weeks, my first challenge took more than 4 months cuz I was risking 0.25 %.
