Let me tell u.my story with sport betting.

During covid,I was always bored at home so I normally go to my friend shop to while away d time.

One blessed day,I went there n his apprentice was dem happy that he couldn't hide it,I asked him what's up n he told me he won bet.

I sharply downloaded 1xbet n loaded 1k to d account,he taught me how to play n atimes he will always come to my place to put me through.

Like 3 weeks after I played game for myself with 300 naira n i won 180k. I just dey low key but d adrenaline rush make me use 5k stake ticket immediately n Liverpool cut it.

Since that day like this I no dey take betting serious cos wetin dey my mind b "money wey I don win,u no fit collect am back"......i play bet for fun n i don't see it as something that can turn me to.millionaire overnight.

I play bet once in a while,maybe once in a month n even if I want to play I can play with 50 naira

You earn 80K but no savings, are you living beyond your means? Do you make expenses that someone at your income level shouldn't be making? Are you shouldering responsibility that doesn't allow you save? Think about your choices and the motivation for the sport betting, then try to figure something out before your debt skyrockets to an uncontrollable point

I used to be ok until December when I started online sport betting, just normal lower class nigeria ok. Atleast I can afford the basics. Saving in this buhari era is not easy o.

I work, I earn almost 80k monthly. My Jan salary dropped on Sunday nite. My colleague called immediately for his money. I sent him his 50k, the money he loaned me mid last month, sport betting took all the money.

I owe two loan app 33k and 24k, that's my major concern I don't know how to go abt it, I hv to pay them next week. I still owe a friend 14k another 20k and another 6k.

After paying my colleague 50k I had 30k left , I lost 20k on sport betting yesterday before I came bk to my senses, now am left with 10k for the month. Am happy hv not played today.

I still don't know how to pay bk, sport betting is evil. I hardly borrow money from people but now am owing people because I foolish got carried away with sport betting.

Make a repayment plan, if it takes you 1, 2 or 3 years to pay back, then take that as a consequence for your addiction and move on

I still don't know how I became addicted to sport betting, it all started late December last year, at first I was winning on a daily basis. But from ist Jan, I started loosing and as I speak to u now, am owing friends and loan apps over a 100k. I can concentrate at work, I want to stop but how do I stop when I hv over 100k to pay.

I think the urge to play is coming from the over 100k, am owing different people. If u hv been able to quit sport betting pls how did u do it. I want to stop, am tired already
