Hi,

I am not sure you can covert visit visa into work permit inside, do well to confirm this. Also, you need to be sure your spouse job’s teer qualifies you for a work permit (SOWP).

Albeit, if all eligibilities are met, I think applying from outside might be straightforward, processing time from Nigeria was 9weeks as at few days ago.

1. Am I to reference my application number(after submission) to the physician and does it automatically updates on my dashboard?

2. For the PCC(Police Clearance Certificate), where and how is it to be uploaded ?

1. If you chose to do upfront medicals, you should have indicated that in your responses when you filled the questionnaire on this Gckey portal. The clinic would give you a slip after the medical examination and this is what you upload to the GCkey portal before submission of your application.

2. Same goes for the PCC, it’s the responses to the questionnaire that provides where and what documents to upload afterwards.

P:S
-Some TR applicants( work permits, study, visit etc) do not need PCC, be sure you really need it.

However, If I eventually decide to apply for a Visitor visa, can I show my husband’s bank statement or does it have to be mine? The plan is to go for a temporary visit of about 4 months.

Hello, the previous post from funkyy598 is well appreciated especially “ and not get carried away with the 3 years pgwp becos time run fast in Canada ”. This is a guideline for everybody.

Regarding your next visitor’s visa application, considering your spouse is still a student, and he is expected to work 20 hours a week or so, it would be standard for the funds to be in your account except there is a lot of funds in his account. This would show your are capable for your expenses for that visit and would not further strain his remaining financial responsibilities towards his studies.

Try to show your source of income and let it be detailed. This would prove how you got the funds.

Also, be emotional in you LOE and let the officer know how much seeing your spouse for this short term means to you.

All these points are just my own opinion.

Hi, your kids stand a good chance of getting approval, since parents were already approved. You just need to convince the VO this time.

-Include all documents you could use to convince a layman about your financials as stated by @Bobomaigida,

-Include a letter of explanation to back this and show your emotions to some extent in this letter.

-You could compress files using iLovePDF site.

-You could use the secure account portal this time. This allows up to 4MB.

-You can apply as soon as you’re able to achieve the stated above or any other tailored contributions from this forum to this case.

I'm very delighted for taking out time to explain all of this, frankly I have been broken due to her condition, I had to pay a full time care worker to take care of my 7 month old child. She is due for another operation in March. A very major one, her sickness is bad that initially doctor told me she wont survive as she has 5 % survival but God did what he did and she survived it. Now I already have 2 letters from the Social services and also from the doctor all from the Hospital. Someone gave me a contact for Brampton MP but we don't live in Brampton, so I'll take your advice and ask her to call or meet with the MP of our city. The only fear I have is I used her personal account as sponsor. I also attached my new child birth document . I have written a personal letter of explanation but I learnt the new Ircc portal uses Ai Chinook software which they don't even look at supporting documents. I hope a human will look at my application and grant it.

In this situation, you could explore the 3 options previously highlighted, be sure to follow up more on the third option, contacting the MP.

Let your Spouse search for the name of the MP in her city, then visit their website and get the official email address.

Let your Spouse send the MP an email, stating this situation, a consent form would be sent from the MP’s to your Spouse email to get your application details and they would contact the processing office on her behalf.
