Politics / Re: UPDATE: Hon. Kingsley Chimda, Rivers State Moved A Motion For Division Of Nigeri by BenCaptain: 1:49am On Aug 21, 2023
Wickedfacts:

Zik championed and achieved independent Nigeria. Listen to this dumb liar.
Anthony Enahoro moved the motion for Independence. Where was Zik then?
You think you are talking to your fellow illiterates abi.

You blame everyone for your own folly. Everyone but yourselves. You are now saying that the British are dealing with you.
When Igbos killed Ahmadu Bello, Balewa, Akintola, even killed the Wife of Northern leaders. You didn't kill a single Igbo man. Not 1.
22 People were killed across Nigeria, not 1 Igbo.

Ironsi was brought and that fool protected the coup plotters by moving them to Owerri. He even refused to prosecute them. What the idiot did was to introduce the Unitary Constitution that put everything in Igbo hands under the guise of merit. Yet, you want others to keep quiet because they are stupid.

The 2 major Yorubas that supported you, how did you treat them?
Ademulegun laid down his life to protect Ironsi his host. You ingrates don't reckon with him, not even a single Street is named after him in igboland

Banjo who led the only offensive in the entire Biafran war, Ojukwu killed him. The same useless cowardly Ojukwu who ran away when faced with what Banjo faced. Ojukwu is an hero cos he got you killed. Effiong who ensured you weren't wiped out, you useless him.

What about Soyinka who supported you and was jailed for supporting Biafra?
You Igbos just finished insulting him.
Same Soyinka that was in prison for Biafra when Achebe was busy sleeping with college girls in America.

People like you dont have anything to offer but deceptions and nothing more. To educate you more because you talk like a village person. You are referring to Zik, the first president of Nigeria. Listen let me educate you.

Aguiyi ironsi ruled from 16 January 1966 until his assassination by a group of mutinous Northern Nigerian officers and men who were led by Major Murtala Mohammed and included Captain Theophilus Danjuma, Lieutenant Muhammadu Buhari, Lieutenant Ibrahim Babangida and Lieutenant Sani Abacha in a revolt against his government in what was popularly called the July counter-coup.

Banjo was accused of being a coup plotter against Nigerian Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa by the government of Aguyi Ironsi. He was alleged to have staged a coup plot against Biafran President Odumegwu Ojukwu
When Biafra was proclaimed on 30 May 1967, Banjo was released from an Eastern Nigerian prison by President Odumegwu Ojukwu and promoted to colonel. When the Nigerian Army invaded Biafra on 6 July 1967, Ojukwu sent Banjo and Major Albert Okonkwo to invade Nigeria. Banjo was able to capture Benin City in less than a day and was able to get within 300 kilometers of then-capital Lagos. After Banjo was repulsed at the Battle of Ore, he and other officers (Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Phillip Alale, and Sam Agbam) were accused of plotting a coup against Ojukwu.
Aguiyi-Ironsi, an Igbo, was purportedly slated for assassination but effectively took control of Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory. Aguiyi-Ironsi effectively compelled the remaining members of Balewa's government to resign. Seeing that the government was in disarray, Aguiya-Ironsi then allowed Senate President Nwafor Orizu, another Igbo who was serving as acting president in Azikiwe's absence, to surrender power to him officially, which ended the First Nigerian Republic.

Soyinka's efforts to curtail the Nigerian Civil War in 1967 resulted in his arrest and imprisonment without trial by the federal military government. Soyinka's work remains inseparable from his activities as a political dissident. His commitment to promoting human rights in Nigeria and other nations reflects his new approach to literature as a serious agent of social change.

Your uncle Awolowo who was the then finance minister thought he could kill Igbos by seizing all their monies in the banks and issue them 2 pound each.

You think am one of those gullible Nigerians you can easily deceived with your jumping up and down. If you have other issues bordering you please take time and deal with it.

"Azikiwe was a leading figure of modern Nigerian nationalism who spent a better part of his life working to end British control of Nigeria, both as a journalist and a politician. Azikiwe served as the last governor-general of Nigeria from 1960 to 1963 as well as the country’s first elected president from 1963 to 1966 during the first republic. He had joined politics in 1944 and later co-founded the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons (NCNC) after a successful stint as a journalist, he became active in politics in 1944.

He inspired the Zikist movement, a radical revolutionary and multi-ethnic youth body which championed the Nigerian struggle against imperialism and the belief that Nigerians and indeed Africans should manage their own affairs.

As far back as the 1940s, Azikiwe had been championing for Nigeria’s independence from British rule and, in 1943, joined other West African editors to sign a memorandum raising awareness about political independence. They had also called for socio-political reforms that would include a repeal of the crown colony system, installing a representative system in regions and granting independence to West African colonies under the British rule.

An obituary in the 1996 issue of Jet captures his place in Nigeria’s and Africa’s history thus: “Known as a vigorous champion of African independence from European colonial rule, Dr. Azikiwe attained the rare status of national hero, admired across the regional and ethnic lines dividing his country.”

Wickedfacts:

When Obafemi Awolowo suggested inserting the secession clause, it was the greedy, foolish and shortsighted Nnamdi Azikwe who opposed it.

Who brought about a Unitary constitution? Another Igbo man called Ironsi.

Your own father that was stealing government funds in the military, he didn't remember Biafra by then.

You are now here making foolish animal noises and blaming others for the shortsightedness of your foolish ancestors.

When things were done on merit in Nigeria, Igbos were every place in government until this failed idea of Federal Character that kills talent was introduced.

Zik and his tribe is feeling the heat because the British swear that they will deal with him for championing and achieving an independent Nigeria.

What Nigeria passed through in civil war is Britain initiative. After Aburi Accord, the British told Gowon to inform them that he did not agree again on the accord .

Stop abusing people anyhow.

Your points are not well structured and organized. When did this event occur?

The point of focus is that this event did occure and a little task on your brain will figure out when. But the focus is on aggressiveness in shutting it down.

Nigeria could be greater when this system is changed or restructured.
