Business › Re: Traders In Lagos Stage Protest Against Chinese Shops At Trade Fair And ASPANDA by Benedict44(m): 9:15am On Sep 15*. Modified: 9:33am On Sep 15 |
The Chinese setting up warehouse in Nigeria should be condemned by everybody that understands economics. Instead of them to set up factories to produce the goods here, they are setting up warehouse, which will invariably kill the local economy. As a buyer, it looks good but if you look at it in the long term, it is very bad. It is not just about igbos. Every tribe has retailers that buys goods overseas and sell in Nigeria. What happens when those people can't compete? What happens to your brother/sister working in those retail shops? It will affect everyone. In fact, if you observe our economy, you will notice that since we tilted towards China and abandoned the USA, that is when things began to get worse because Chinese don't build factories unlike USA. They prefer to produce in China and sell in Nigeria. USA companies will prefer to set up factories in Nigeria due to cheap labour but Chinese will prefer to manufacture in China and sell in Nigeria. We complain of unemployment but fail to understand these things. Instead of warehouse, let them build factories here, produce it here and sell it cheaper. Everybody wins. 21 Likes 1 Share |

Tinubu’s biggest mistake was devaluing naira. He should have stopped after the subsidy removal and watched the economy until dangote refinery fully starts operation. That single decision to devalue naira knowing fully well that we are an importing nation destroyed the economy and wiped out the middle class. I believe other presidents before him saw that and avoided currency devaluations at all costs. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guy's My redmi note 11 pro SIM 2 is not working. It says "SIM card not inserted" even though the sim is inserted. I interchanged both SIM and it is only detecting the SIM 1. That means the problem is not from SIM card. When I switch to Airplane mode and switch on, it is the same. However if I reboot the phone, the SIM card will come and stay for few seconds and disappear. Who knows how I can resolve that. 1 Like |

Hello, I am having issues with my Redmi note 12 pro 5G. 6/64 version. Few days ago, I got update notification for MIUI 14 based on Android 13. I downloaded the 3.7GB file but during installation, I got a notification of not enough space. I deleted many things to create more space. When I tried to install it again, I noticed that I needed to download it afresh. I downloaded it afresh. But during installation, I got a notification of "Can't verify the source of this update". NB: I noticed that anytime I try to download the update, the previous one I downloaded will appear in my downloaded-rom folder. Even after deleting it, once I reboot my phone, it will appear again. I tried to to install the one appearing in the downloaded-Rom folder by selecting "Choose update package" and selecting the already downloaded one. Then I get the notification "It is not allowed to upgrade to unofficial ROM package" Is it possible to install the one that is appearing in my folder or is there any way to resolve the issue. |
