Today, I visited the office and had a sincere conversation with a staff member at the Ministry of Interior. From my heart, I asked him the questions many of us have been asking:
Why the silence? Why the delay? Why no update? 😔

His response was simple, honest, and deep 👇

He explained that the silence does not mean nothing is happening. Some processes are deliberately kept away from the public for now because the Minister of Interior wants this recruitment to be clean, fair, and free from influence.

According to him, the Minister does not want anyone’s destiny to be sold, manipulated, or hijacked by favouritism. He emphasised that the Minister is genuinely protecting the integrity of this recruitment, and that is why things are being handled carefully.

He further stated that once all necessary logistics are fully put in place, official updates will be released. Based on our discussion, there is strong hope that this month may bring good news 🙏

However, he also gave very important advice that everyone must take seriously:

👉 Applicants should not depend solely on a government job.

He revealed that less than 7% of the total applicants will eventually be selected. This means that even when the update is released and final selections are made, the majority will not make it—not because they are not good, but because the slots are very limited.

Do something meaningful while waiting. If you are selected, it’s a blessing. If not, your life should not be on hold take note.

If you join the army as scc than you be 2lt one star lieutenant , the pay is around 315k including other allowance and they give you about 10million and each child gets a certain amount for school fees, after some years you get another allowance to get your own house you also get duty tour allowance when you go out of station among others, but you MIGHT not get to the top of the chain. And like someone said, you have to like the job first.

Kai let me tell my stories on federal government job purse till the moment I accepted my faith..I still believe God can change anything overnight and favour.

I first tried immigration (during president Johnathan regime) we paid for the registration process. The recruitment was later paused when the news broke out that the federal government is exploiting unemployed youths. When it resumed we were scheduled to go and run at the stadium lol. When I got there and saw the crowd it was mad and disorganised I had to gently go home. The next day people were getting news about scores that died.

Later I got a tipoff that one aunty in our compound get one uncle in Abuja with correct connection. Infact the aunty and her brother graduated with fedjobs waiting after service and started working almost immediately.
I begin follow this aunty like say my life depends on her.

Fast forward to Dss recruitment. After applying I was invited for writen interview which I went for. There I heard that all na was ,just find connected and govt figure to recommend you. A distant relation was a chief whip so I started pushing. The day I got her attention in her office I got a heartbreaking question "which organisation is Dss and what do they do" I explained..then I heard "oh I used to see some of them around I will ask so so to help me check"...I hid my disappointment and left. Went back to the aunty with connection she said she will follow up on her end.

The aunty later opened up to me that she is having issues with her uncle blabla etc so the uncle is putting everything on hold including checking for Dss stuff for me I just weak.

I continued applying for FCSC anytime I see it online but I know it's a no show. Physical application at federal character commission yet nothing.

Time passed,.naso I heard from my paddy that TCN is accepting CV. I sent my people to help me go drop CV. I called the aunty to inform her she said no p. TCN invited me...we wrote test in a hotel event section, those that passed were called out right there for interview ( 20) I was 8,after that they said they will get back...the 20 we shared contact none of us agreed to being called to start when we started hearing about people resuming....I was still following up with the aunty with connection,she said her uncle checked and I passed madly but slots where shared and he has gotten hold of someone with one but that the uncle wants the slot from this somebody as favour exchange as he doesn't believe in money for job. I just weak. Capital weakness. The TCN interview call up is still in my folder a constant reminder of my near misses.

Fast foward to Lagos huzzle. I applied for DPR from there. My communication with the aunty is now on the phone. She nodey carry my call sometimes. I did only CBT for the DPR so when I started hearing about people getting called and not even writing I gave up. The aunty stopped carrying my calls at a point since then. Life moved on

But I still get hope one day my own connection go locate me or I go locate am. May God come to our aid and give us what won't consume us and what is ours ,I know I will still add success story to this my job story one day... from 2013 chai

The exams or the recruitment process before training?

The truth is that the pre-test is for facial verification and review, NCS just want to use the medium to capture your face so that no one can help you sit for the main CBT exams. That is the primary aim.. Please fellas let's be wise and be guided to avoid disqualification.

Official info for Superintendent cadre, pre test will take place on the 22nd i.e next week Monday by 3pm. Other cadres should stay put for their date

Unemployment na very bad thing especially in this our country Nigeria. You'll feel left out, depressed and uncomfortable. To get FG work buy now na big deal. Be careful not to fall victim of scammers

Just pray to be favoured. Some posting will require you to go out of your way in other to earn good money aside your salary, which most are risky.
