The higher you go in awareness, the more you expect of yourself, because Divine Spirit is saying to you, "There is always a better way to do it." It gently nudges you to bring out the best.

You cannot measure spirituality by the number of bad habits you have or not. Nor by a certain number of experiences. Awareness of the moment and a joy for living can also be an indication of where you are spiritually.

Autobiography Of A Modern Prophet

At times Divine Spirit heals directly, at other times It leads one to the right medical doctor. Sometimes It will assist in the healing and treatment we are presently undergoing. We must inwardly turn everything over to the guidance of this Supreme Force while making every effort to find the most suitable medical help.

We are required spiritually to act with the greatest degree of responsibility both to ourselves and to others. This is what it means to be part of the community of Spirit, of the ECK—to be part of the cosmic system of life.

I did some research on astral project/soul travel when I saw OP,s post. So, sex with spirit entities or other members of the sect during soul travel is a reality. If he shares all his experiences during his long sojourn with Eckankar, you will hear some startling things from his mouth. That is if he chose to share them.

Usually I ignore people like you because in Eckankar we have nothing to hide and nothing to prove to anyone either.
I am only responding to your baseless post due to other people you may mislead and who might take my silence as accepting your so called research.
If I share my experiences during my long sojourn in Eckankar, the only startling things you will hear will be wonderful experiences with the Holy Spirit that have completely liberated me from the shackles of ignorance that is still holding a lot of people hostage.
The only way you can know truth is to experience it within yourself and not paper research that throws up more lies and misleading information.
The choice of course is up to you.

@ benjanjo1

the person you are talking to has been in Eckankar for donkey years! grin

Anyway, from my own personal experience with them, they are generally harmless and encourage members to show love to everyone.

@benodic I chanted hu for a while sometime in the past, and guess what?!...

nothing happened grin grin grin

My dear I have been seeing people like that for a long time now. It doesn't bother me a bit. It is a free world and God has provided many paths and Religions for people to follow. Just find the path that fits your state of consciousness and concentrate on finding God. That is what matters.

OK, you kind of sound esoteric. Your vocabulary sounds like those of New Age religions. Is Eckankar like Scientology, WICCA etc.?

Eckankar is a Religion on its own and definitely not like Scientology or WICCA. it is The Path of Spiritual Freedom, Ancient Wisdom for Today and its teachings centres on Soul going back home to God to become a Co-Worker with God.
