Religion / Re: Did Jesus Collect Tithes? If So, Where In The Bible Did This Happen? by benoni123: 11:48am On May 20, 2023
We all know that it now a new dispensation.
In tithe which is 10%. Yes Abraham paid it to the Priest, The Israelites pay to the Levi family which was 1/12 of the population of Israel which has no inheritance. That means if total Israelites population was 12million about 1million are serving the remaining 11 million population in the site of God.
This is how it is today.
Also looking at given in the bible. When men decide to be stingy that was when God begin to demand 10%.

I support given to the household of Faith because what ever is dedicated to God. Is jealousy will be around it.
The bible says the measure you give is the measure you will receive.
When you really give a offering and seed that presentable before God the jealousy of God will be around you.
Remember the woman who gave two pieces of coin Jesus said she gave the best of all because she gave an offering that touches her greatly with faith. Also look at the love the woman of alabaster oil. It was her one year wages she gave something that touches her with great love in her heart.

Though the doctrine of each church covers everyone in the congratulations. So if you church says pay tithe better do. The covenant in each commission differs. As individual expect to spell it out to your pastor... If he allows you fine. If he doesn't you advise yourself...
Just remember that you must dedicate a portion of your profit to God for this coverage.
Thank you
