How can you post the comment reproduced below and then respond with the above comment? How? Hypocrisy or what? If the argument is not necessary, why make the comment below? A particular ethnic group have been claiming sole ownership of Nollywood for some years now. Some years back, they even claimed Yoruba movies are not part of Nollywood in order to maintain their self acclaimed ownership of the industry. Now that the records are being set straight, you now think it’s not necessary even when comment is suggesting otherwise? Madam, Beremx must be another name for hypocrisy.
Seun, there's nothing hypocritical about my comment. You're fond of twisting my comment to suit your narrative. You want to always drag me into Igbo-Yoruba feud which I try as much to avoid. Please I beg you in the name of whatever you worship, don't quote me next time if you intend to continue this trend with my comments.

Have a blessed new week

Quite contradictory. So you all accept that Yorubas have been making movies even though without commercial success before living in bondage was produced. So, what’s the argument about again?

Yorubas started both theater and home movie production. Igbos took over at some point and expanded the scope. Today, it’s an equal field for everyone with Yorubas taking the shine with blockbuster after blockbuster in the last 5 years.
I don't think since this argument started I have said anything about it not until now. Moreover, I ask you, is the argument necessary about which ethnic group started Nollywood? Is there a special recognition to that effect? Outside Nigeria, no one gives a flying fucck about Igbo or Yoruba movies. It's all about a general term called Nollywood.

Living in Bondage started the business in Nollywood. If Yoruba movies existed before then, most people were not aware because most Nigerians were interested in Indian and American movies

If you're crying about exclusion of non-indigents to apply for Job in Anambra State, you should also ask why Anambra State has the highest cut off mark in National Common Entrance Examination. It's simple - there's a high demand in both jobs and admission.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo's Ostracism And What He Would Have Learnt From Sanusi Lamido by Beremx(f): 11:30am On Sep 24, 2023
The resemblance is striking. If Obasanjo has an igbo blood, good for him. He too has a hidden history like Tinubu

He didn't participate in all the stages of the election and had no result and was not on the ballot legally
the victory still belongs to the party, except the fact the constitution says otherwise. Anyways

Joe Biden did not personally congratulate Tinubu when INEC announced him as president. I don't see him giving Tinubu any special recognition any time soon
PoliticsRe: Tribunal Sacks LP, Declares APC Winner Of Amuwo-Odofin Assembly Election by Beremx(f): 11:04am On Sep 24, 2023
This is party matters and has nothing to do with the election. The appeal court will reinstate the LP candidate

Hungerbad wasn't a poor man. I don't think his mother is hungry. The donation isn't necessary because nairaland is a faceless forum.
Kill the idea because it won't work
FamilyRe: Visiting Hungerbad's Mother To Show Solidarity After Four Years Rememberance by Beremx(f): 3:35pm On Sep 23, 2023
Lol I remember the story he told me about his moniker.
You know he was always the first to comment and this brought attention to people on this forum. He told me a female nairaland member asked him if he was really hungry that she wants to send money to him via email. He asked the lady for her number and she sent it to him. He called the lady and she was shocked to see a US line Hungerbad used in calling her. They both talked and he ended up sending money to her.

Chai!! Boss you were a very funny guy. I missed our gists. grin grin

Rest in power Boss
