Back in those days, it was a shameful thing for a graduate to be doing small scale business. If a graduate isn't working in a bank, telecom sector or an oil company, your education is a waste. Right now, that has changed. The situation of the country has turned everyone to hustler. No one cares if you're a university graduate or not. Hustle is the main goal |

I remember some years back I attended a Yoruba wedding at Festac Town. I sat on a round table alone. Few minutes later, someone said hello and asked if he could sit next to me. I smiled and greeted him and I told him to sit. Other guests started sitting on the chairs round the table. I noticed the people who sat at the table where sophisticated, their appearance and all that. I noticed the person sitting next to me had bodyguards. I felt uncomfortable. I excused myself and left the table for another table. It was later when dignitaries were being introduced I found out that it was Alao Akala that was sitting next to me. I was astonished. I saw people go to greet him and he gave them money. Na so me I go greet am too o! He asked why I left the table and I told him I wasn't comfortable. Na so the man dash me money o! ![]() May his soul continue to rest in peace. I hope the family make peace with one another |
