I built a social listening app (https://smartmention.com) intended to help people track mentions of their brand, competitor or industry term. It takes a target keyword or phrase and searches across the web 24/7 and delivers results daily.

To differentiate it from other existing tools I decided to make the app group the mentions automatically, making it easy to understand the entire results at a glance and filter by topic

More features it has is source categorisation and sentiment analysis. Possible features I might add later on is social engagement.

It's currently free and useful for tracking potential customers, clients, insights, or marketing - if you set a keyword or phrase potential customers might be asking questions about like on Reddit or Twitter. e.g you set a target keyword like 'need a Java developer in Abuja' -potential lead for a developer, 'need a reliable hosting platform in Nigeria' - potential lead for hosting businesses to secure customer.
