Education5 Tips On Preparing For Graduation Day! by Bertjohnston(op): 10:51am On Oct 20, 2017
As students, we’re all excited about graduation day. College graduation is an especial milestone, as it is the last academic achievement for most of us. However, the importance of this event means that we have to prepare all the more for it.
In order to help you out here, below are a few tips for your graduation day preps:

1. Sort Out Your Grades and Credits:
You don’t want the day of the convocation to arrive and find out you have just one credit left to graduate! In your senior year, it’s all too easy to get lost in the emotion and excitement. If you suddenly find you haven’t kept up your grades or done enough work to graduate, it would be a huge blow.
So keep an eye on your academic work as well as extracurricular activities. You want to celebrate your graduation day, not watching your friends receive their diplomas without you. So if the thought of who will do my university coursework ? lingered on you, don’t waste any more time and find a trustworthy academic writing firm to help you do the task.

2. Arrange for Your Cap and Gown:
The cap and gown are one of the trademarks for graduation ceremonies around the world. Your institution may provide them for you, but be sure to find out beforehand. You may have to buy or rent a cap and gown on your own so that you don’t feel left out when the day arrives.
If your school or college is providing the cap and gown, make sure you know which part of the outfit you can keep. Some institutions allow their students to keep the cap or the whole outfit as a souvenir of their graduation day. Be aware of these rules, so you don’t get confused later on.

3. Arrange for Pictures:
Graduation pictures are a great memento of your time in college or school. Hence, you should be aware of the places set up for taking special pictures of this day. In fact, you should have several pictures of your fun times and achievements throughout the year. Graduation day is especially important though, as your parents and other family members would also want pictures of you in your cap and gown.
Both formal and casual pictures should be on the to-do list for this day. You can ask someone to take a picture of you in your sports uniform, dance costume, or simply with all your friends.
Senior pictures are also an important task before graduation. Make sure you book them well in advance because everyone will be rushing for their pictures at the same time. You need them ready beforehand so that they can appear in your yearbook. Also make sure you have several copies for your close friends and family.

4. Send Invitations and Announcements:
Even if you don’t invite everyone you know, sending out graduation announcement is a tradition in some areas. You may want to have a graduation party after the ceremony, so send out invitations for that well in advance, preferably with the announcement itself.
You may also have to order invitations for the graduation ceremony itself. Find out just how many people you’re allowed to bring, and be sure to update those invited. They can then make sure that their schedule works out so that they can be there for you on the big day! Even if you only get two tickets for family members at the start, you could put in an early request and get more tickets.

5. Find Out About Souvenirs:
Along with the cap and gown, other paraphernalia may also be available as a keepsake of these precious times. Class rings, T-shirts, and other souvenirs are the usual items a graduating batch simply must acquire. You may have to fill out the order forms for this way before the ceremony itself.
