pweetychyka:The truth is, most schools especially Federal owned ones don't consider Direct Entry Applicants who chose them as second choice based on these few points among others: * They have larger numbers of applicants, * Most of them run some programmes which their students can use for Direct Entry (like A'level, IJMB, Diploma etc) and preferential treatment is always being given to their own "internal candidates", * Very few spaces are available for Direct Entry Applicants (especially those applying via JAMB) due to the larger number of "UMITES" admitted, * And so on. Those that do consider have some criteria they use like: * Catchment, * Entrance exam score (must be above the stipulated cut off point), etc. My advise for you and others is to choose a school for both first and second choices but different courses which are in-line with the qualification you're using. Then try to "beat" the cut off mark(s) with a very good score (ensure it's above the stipulated point). Submit your transcript in time and with other required documents to the appropriate office. And I can assure you that you'll be admitted for either of the two courses. Note: I presume TASUED (but be careful because it's a University of Education, at times NCE is preferable for some courses there) and most private universities do consider second choice Direct Entry applicants. But put their tuition fees into consideration which are on the high side. |
pweetychyka:Not advisable for second chance. |
macloaded:There is little difference between the two but it could be accepted. Yes, you can submit affidavit (declaration of age). |
professore:Yes, you'll get it without you travelling to your State of Origin. I'm not certain about where the liaison office is in Ife. But mostly you'll find it in the State Capital. Though, Lagos has not only in the State Capital. So, same may be applicable to Osun State. Please, ask some people over there for better clarification. Basically, you need to submit the following: * O'level Result, * ND/HND/NCE/Bsc/A'level Statement of Result, * JAMB Direct Entry Acknowledge Slip (the online print out after the registration), * Birth Certificate and/or * State of Origin Certificate. Thank you. |
YoBoyfwend:Yes. Thank you so much for the recognition and remembrance. |
YoBoyfwend:Oh, yes, I do! It's being a long time. I wish you the best ahead as to your Direct Entry Application... |
pweetychyka:You're welcome. Glory be to God. You can get it done in any liaison office in the State you reside. |
biggboy:To be candid, most schools are now conducting entrance exams. I won't advise you to choose LASU for DE, Accounting because at times; the school doesn't accept DE applicants to that department. I presume Federal University, Oye Ekiti doesn't conduct entrance exam. |
pweetychyka:Here they are: * O'level Result, * ND/NCE/HND/Bsc Statement of Reult, * JAMB Direct Entry Acknowledge Slip (the printout), * State of Origin Certificate and/or * Birth Certificate. |
dedionne:Yes, you can. |
holumart:You're welcome. Amen and you too. I wish you the best ahead. |
pweetychyka:You can print your admission letter (I mean the one for your ND) on the JAMB Website after the validation. Though, this is not mandatory. Then you can proceed to register for the Direct Entry. After the registration, do not forget to submit the required documents to nearest JAMB Office. |
holumart:Be calm. The school 'll release it before the registration closes. Those who applied for it last year got it before it closes. So, you'll be notified as to it soon... |
Don't be "scammed", the Post UTME is not yet out... But will soon be out. Any update as to it will be announced on the school's website - www.aaua.edu.ng |
The school's Post UTME 'll soon be made available for sales... |
Your questions are welcome. |
Hello. Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba (AAUA) 2016/2017 aspirants let's meet here. You can drop your questions and possible answers. I wish everyone all the best ahead. |
zord33k:You're welcome. I wish you all the best ahead. |
zord33k:Here is the list, if all things being equal: O'level Result, ND/HND/NCE/Bsc/A'level Statement of Result, JAMB DE Registration Slip Print Out (I.e. The slip you printed after the DE registration), and either of these two: Birth Certificate, State of Origin Certificate - Note: you can go with both in case of necessity. Thanks. |
I need it, please. Here is my email address: bashiru.adeitan@yahoo.com Thanks in anticipation. |
olola4:Good Job! Keep it up! Please, can HND Accounting (Upper Credit) be accepted for Bsc Economics in AAUA via JAMB Direct Entry? |
charliboy654:Do Direct Entry as how, please? Kindly simplify your question, please. |
Harbioye:UNILORIN doesn't provided the school won't change its system this time... Though, you'll be asked to present your CERTIFICATE when you get to 300L. That of LAUTECH, I presume they do request for it. |
I wish the prospective corps members safe trip for those who are still on their way down to Okada Camp, Edo State and for those who have gotten to camp; you're welcome. Do not hesitate to 'throw in' your questions. I wish you hitch-free stay on camp. |
