Jobs/Vacancies › Just Start Now! By B. O. Adeitan by beshiman(op):
This write up came into being as a result of my walk with some youths so far.
I have interviewed some of we youths concerning venturing into what God has been putting in our minds. One of the responses I have been getting is "no capital/financial support", so I can't start that stuff now. I do refer to this as "no capital syndrome"

Kindly, don't get me wrong. I am not ruling out the role of money when it comes to business and the likes. But do you know, capital is not the primary need?
Oh! You're shocked?
Stay calm!

The first and primary thing you need to succeed in life with is VISION.
What did I say?
Yes, vision!
I have seen some with so called "capital" yet couldn't venture into anything meaningful. Will you tell me they don't have the money?
Lack of vision is the beginning of destruction. A man with a clear vision is a man with futuristic mindset.

Your vision must be clear enough that you can comprehend it to meaningful level and you know the missions to execute in accomplishing it.
I did a business while I was undergraduate student. I had no equipment and cash, yet I did it. Though, it was challenging but I conquered!
What did I do to overcome the challenge?
Since I had no equipment, I asked myself "Is God really giving me the nudge to start this and do I have a clear vision for it?" When the answer was yes. I looked for those already into same business and succeeding to affiliate with. I got two and made a deal with them. Before I knew what was happening, I was making money (though not that much) but was sufficient to feed myself and few people around me.

Before you conclude on your vision, you ought to have established the fact that God is leading you to do the stuff. Note: the mystery is, what God -- most times -- ask us to do doesn't make sense (in human senses) but I can assure you you will never regret following it. He will create the passion and zeal to do what He said you should do.

Brothers and Sisters, money is not your problem what you lack is vision.
I read about a young guy who started selling "Palm Slippers" with just #30,000. I know you will ask how realistic is that? You see, when there is clear vision, no amount of money is too small to start a business. So don't wait till you get "six digit" sum to start implementation of that vision. The guy in question is now controlling three shops and planning to start up the fourth one. He is now employer of labour. He said: "if you keep on waiting for money without 'setting out', you may wait forever without getting any. Start with what you have now!" You can't be poor in monetary term and be poor in idea. So, start picturing that big prosperity with the God's given idea and work towards it.

Amazon CEO, who is now one of the richest in the world; started selling books in the garage. Look at where he is today!

You need to awake from that slumber today. Get your vision right with God and pursue it. The secret is, if you're passionate about fulfilling purpose; the money to use will "surface". Though, it may be challenging but I can assure you you will scream for joy at the end.

Money is not what's keeping you back from fulfilling that "nudge" from God, it is lack of vision! Get the vision right today!

Betsysportsblog:
hello everyone
Been following this thread since
My own case is different
An Uncle of mine working in First bank called me to send my cv and i did.
I got a mail from VLA that first bank sent my CV to them and i should come for recruitment process.
I went there ,wrote the test with just about 6 other people
Then immediately after the test, they brought forms for us to fill..Attestation form, witness form,Health insurance form, pension form etc.
We even got to pick the hospital we would like to be using .
Then they gave us 4 guarantor's form n 2 reference forms to take home to give people to fill .
We went back after a week to submit the guarantors forn and also documentation.
They collected our results n documents also.
So they told us to go and they will call us soon.
Still waiting on them to call though
Its been 3weeks already though
Does anyone have a similar case.
This is different employment process.

This thread is for Graduate Trainee Programme.

Kindly, comfim what has led to the delay, preferably from your Uncle who started with the assistance.

Thanks.

Wow!

Thanks for keeping the good work moving.

I've been busy nowadays. Also, my phone was faulty recently. I just got another one.

To the applicants, please, ensure you fill your form with right information. One of the reasons some applicants don't get admitted by the school is as a result of wrong information supplied when registering despite they had up to the required cut off marks.

More so, be csrefully with those you contact for help. Run from anyone who demands for money because the school does admit on merit.

Above all, I wish you all the best.

Note: you may quote me should you have further clarification and hint as to how to succeed in the HND entrance CBT as I have some questions compiled which applicants of the past had used and succeeded.

I remain my humble self.

Thanks.

So I was supposed to attend the First Bank AC this saturday but olowogbogboro has made a way for me where I thought there was no way. PWCs mail landed yesterday. For those still in the job hunt, never stop believing. God and Persistence are the keys. Never ever ever give up. I graduated in 2014, finished service in 2015. Wrote KPMG during service, I failed. Got to the last stages of the following: Access Bank, NSE, PWC last year, Sterling Bank but I wasn't employed. After 6 months of staying at home, I taught for 6 months and earned 25k teaching data processing and computer studies. Then I got a graduate internship position in a software development company where i have worked for one year up till now. Moral of the story, never ever give up. God is alive.
Wow!

Congrats!

This reminds me how I got to the last stage recruitment of KPMG last year but I wasn't chosen. Yet, I never relented for once..

I like your success story.

All the best ahead!

I wrote 20th December, I am still waiting for the invite to AC. Do I need to call HCP?
I don't think there is need for that because we're still within the said 6weeks. I'm yet to get mine as well but I'm calm since they're still calling successful applicants for AC.
Hopefully, ours will roll in next week...

All the best!

I have been reading this thread for some time now , I equally got both emails from HCP and I've been quite worried as I'm yet to receive the actual Invite for the assessment test.

However, reading this post now I think its clear that invites have been sent to those who wrote their aptitude test in December last year and probably early this year.

I'm directing this message to those who are yet to receive their invites as it's obvious it's being sent out in batches. Pls feel free to quote this if you have a separate theory.

P.S. I wrote my test February this year at First academy Challenge in Ibadan.

Is the test for this same Graduate Trainee Recruitment?
I mean the test you wrote Feb., 2017?

Usually I don't do this but....I feel the need to help those who think "what will be will be....Broses and Sises
grin..

What will be will not be...what will be is a product of your deliberate effort. This is exactly the reason our politicans are raping us dry and nothing will happen.

The nigerian youth is radiant with brilliance and our fathers/elders know this...thier last vestige of relevance is politics and that why they kill to remain there. We do not seize our future by "saying what will be will be"

A typical nigerian will say "all naa by luck" but it was a former US president that said..."I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."

By every instituted law(whether law of the universe, nature, spiritual or logical)....it is not right to help another person at your own detriment, believing what will be will be

Being new in christ, I used to think I was holier than Jesus(yeah!) until I understood a disciple can't be greater than his master.....

Remember the parable of the wise virgins
Remember Jesus said "love your neighbour as yourself"

I know you will say " angry or
grin over firstbank recruitment but....this is symptomatic of why 70million youths(including me) are been raped by our elders and as it goes on we say "what will be will be
What will be may not be if one refuses to act, that is working towards achieving the set goal.

It's well!

I won't advise you to come same day. Come at least a day before. Lagos is unpredictable when it comes to road traffic.

I'm confused with the schedule.. I keep seeing peeps saying the Assessment is scheduled for 7 am.

I got 2 mails.. One for 7 am... The other for 1.30 pm...

I also got a call from HCP trying to confirm my availability.. I asked the lady at the other end of the line which of the times should I work with.

The lady said I should disregard the 7 am mail and work with 1.30 pm..
Probably there will be two sets for the day 7AM and 1:30PM.
