Newcastle United could reportedly be set to hand more playing time to exciting young midfielder Elliot Anderson between now and the end of the season.

The 18-year-old has long been considered a huge prospect after rising through Newcastle’s academy, and he’s already seen some playing time in the Premier League.

It could now be that Anderson is now set to feature more regularly as Steve Bruce looks ready to take a gamble on the teenager, according to The Athletic.

Magpies fans would surely love to see more homegrown players in Bruce’s first-team, and Anderson looks good enough to make an impact.

There are many items in the world today whose real names have been wrongly used by many. Many persons in Nigeria, have created and popularized names of several items and products; which are totally different from their original name.

Zobo is the native name given to the African drink made from the Roselle plant. The proper name for it; is Hibiscus tea or Roselle plant tea.

4.    “Akara” (Bean buns)

Akara is another popular African meal that is made with beans. Its proper English name is bean buns.

5.    Kuli -Kuli (Peanut bars).

Kuli- Kuli is another popular meal or local snack that is commonly made in the northern part of Nigeria. It can be eaten alone or can be combined with beverages, its real name is peanut bars.

Following the recent report on the s3xual molestation of a 14-year-old girl, who was caught in the act via a CCTV camera with a popular Nigerian actor, Baba Ijesha, a colleague of baba Ijesha in the Yoruba movie industry, Iyabo Ojo has come out to express her thoughts on the issue, calling on people who tend to defend the accused of the crime he has committed, to desist from he was framed.

According to an earlier report from Punch, it was gathered that the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi had confirmed that the actor started s3xually assaulting the victim when she was seven years old.

It was also gathered that the actor confessed to the crime as he was captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant.

Iyabo, who spoke in an interview with Punch said she has seen a lot of people on social media platforms trying to defend Baba Ijesha saying he was set up for the crime he had committed. According to her, there is no way to try to defend him because this is how a lot of other young girls are being molested by people who supposed to look out for them.

She made it clear that not only girls are being molested but the boy child also gets molested and the reason most of them are afraid to come out and voice their opinions especially when they are being molested by a popular or prominent person in society.

According to multiple social media reports, men of the Nigerian Army and customs officials allegedly raided ‘okirika’ shops in Yaba, Lagos.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Sunday December 29, at Popo Street in Yaba, Lagos, while most owners of the shops are away for the Christmas holiday.

The officers were said to have broken into the shops to confiscate second-hand clothings popularly known as Okirika.

British Album Artist Vaughan Oliver Dies Sunday ‘Pixies’ ‘The Breeders’ ‘Dead Can Dance’

Vaughan Oliver, the British artist and graphic designer who helped create album covers for musical groups, including the Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Throwing Muses, The Breeders, This Mortal Coil, Dead Can Dance and more, passed away Sunday, according to his friend and editor. He was 62.

On Tuesday, 24 December 2019, there was a targeted gasoline bomb attack on the producers of a Netflix comedy starring gay Jesus.

Police in Brazil are investigating a video found on social media showing a blaze at an empty video production house in Rio de Janeiro on Christmas Eve.

The Netflix comedy movie, “First Temptation of Christ” depicts Jesus as a gay man was produced by YouTube comedy channel Porta dos Fundos and it has gathered a huge backlash after it was aired in Brazil, sparking about two million people to sign a petition for the movie to be taken down as its jokes are being “seriously offensive” to Christians.

According to reports by The Sun, there were no injuries recorded, and a security guard extinguished the flames on December 24, says the Associated Press.
