The income alone accrued in the savings annually is something to behold if fixed at 4 to 6 percent per annum. The interest will be more than his yearly expenditure at 200k per day expenditure. Some persons came to this world with zero financial sense.

I'm at a crossroad towards making a decision of either staying back or moving to PH.

I've jst been transferred, bt the truth is, where I'm currently at, my 60k salary is well manageable.

Though, I dont have problems adapting to most of the cities I've been to, and will also love to move down there. But owning to the present economic situation, is it worth I move ? Is it a trap ?.

Aside accommodation which my company has, Can I take care of myself in PH with my 60k allawee ?

PH based please, I need ur opinions, as I still have option to decline, as such, your views will be of much help at this time.
its totally useless. It would be a waste of time. Reject that offer by all means. Food and transport fares would make that 60k look like 12 k at the end of the month.

Family / Re: My Senior Colleague And His Wife's Messy Marital Life. Things Are Happening by betshopagent(m): 12:26pm On Mar 02
EreluRoz:
There's this very nice married senior colleague of mine who is having a very messy marital life, my other colleague hinted me about it and I actually got close to him and eventually gets him to pour out his heart to me.

According to him, he got married at early 40s to his very young wife as at then who was 19years. Infact he said his mother-in-law never approved of their marriage but his wife insisted and with the support of the father-in-law they got married. However after their first child, he enrolled the wife in a university to further her studies as she married him as a secondary school dropout. That was the beginning of his chaos, that was the beginning of seefinish according to him, that was the beginning of nightmares in his home.

It started by getting reports from people who knows him(he's rich and popular in his home town) about his wife's wayward lifestyle with lecturers and administrative staff, so many nasty reports and how she throws herself at some of these people which many people never believed she was married. Eventually she graduated and came back home, he never confronted her because he really loved her, so he let everything slide. She got pregnant for their second child and when she was due for delivery she had an accident that almost claimed her life, fortunately she was saved and her baby survived as well but unfortunately she won't be able to have more children. She started complaining about everything and how this man has reduced her beauty and even reporting him to his friend about everything happening in their home. The friend always advise him to send her away but he couldn't do it for the sake of his children.

So she advanced by telling this man that they should no longer welcome visitors in their home, family members are not welcomed as well and if you want to see him, he will give you a location to meet him but definitely not his house. This man became a shadow of himself that he refused family interference as well.

He told me she dresses provocatively and goes out and comes back at will. Then he decided to hack her WhatsApp and what he saw was a mess that he couldn't ever imagine in his life. This woman sends her nude and indulge in sex videos with different kind of men, some are way younger than her and all other sorts of dirty activities.

Having discovered all these things about his wife, he still has not summoned the courage to chase her out, she even goes to her room and lock herself to do nude videos to send to different men but he's still saying whenever he wants to chase her away he thinks about his kids and won't be able to do so.

The recent one she's doing is planning to relocate abroad to meet one of her lovers and she's already processing visa and even threatening the man that soon she'll leave him to go enjoy her life. As it stands now, they are just living together and don't talk to each other or even cook for him. She threatened the man that she'll kill him if he dares stand against her plans and he has gone to the police station to make report concerning this.

He asked me what I think he should do and I told him it's quite a pathetic story that will need the advise of an experienced person, I actually played smart on him because I was told he doesn't take advise and that he has been advised severally to end the marriage with her but he always have no courage doing that. This man has developed blood pressure due to all he's facing from his wife.

What grip could this woman be having on him?

What is the best way out for him and if the wife's relocation eventually fails, should this man continue to live with this woman?

He obviously need help but unfortunately he has chased his family away and stopped friends from getting close, how would you help this kind of man who unfortunately found himself in this deep mess?
Babe, tell him to prepare the divorce papers once his wife makes that trip. It should be A TRIP OF NO RETURN. That your friend is a strong man; for him to have forgiven all this shit because of his children(thats if they are actually his). Charlie needs a DNA on his children too. The gods wants to help him by pushing the wife to another madness, if he misses this chance, he is doomed.

Lies.

The project wasn't originally for Ariaria, but businesses and industries in Aba.

FYI, AIMATA (Ariaria International Market Traders Association) built and commissioned their independent power plant. It was a 9.5MW plant commissioned by Buhari. The FG's NERC licensed Ariaria Independent Energy Distribution Network Limited to distribute the generated power.

@me
If you are not qualified how would you know who is qualified or not.
More like asking "if you're a passenger how would know a bad driver? ". Ans: Even if you can't drive, you would know a bad driver when he starts sliding of the road and heading towards a hole or bush or when he applies gear to move forward and suddenly the car starts taking you backwards the way APC is taking us now. So I don't have to be qualified to know whom is good or not.

Personally, I think all these people are not qualified to pull-out Nigeria out of the mess APC pushed us into Except people like this. Don't we have Enough Nigerians in diaspora again? The calibre of Dr Okoboji iweala and Co whom would tell you the solution without minding party affiliations. All I see are APC members and nothing more.

Do you build an integrated power station in one day.

Geometric is a generation, transmission, and distribution power company.

Only the transmission cables are over 150,000 KM. For context, Lagos to Kano is about 991 KM. So, the Geometric transmission cables are over 150x that distance.

Can you pull that off in a day?

The project stalled during Buhari government but OTTI helped expedite it.
The project is owned by Bart Nnaji but started under GEJ. So it was licensed by GEJ administration. The problem Bart faced was two. The first was raising capital. Secondly after raising capital, land was another issue. He raised more money to acquire lands for the power station. This project was mainly for Ariaria market but He expanded it to power 9local government areas in Abia. It gurantees 24/7 hours light.
Politics / Re: INEC Publishes Report Of 2023 General Election by betshopagent(m): 2:38pm On Feb 23
Number 1 enemy of A good Nigeria is INEC. Billions spent by INEC is last general election and yet they could not deliver electronic voting to Nigerians. INEC clearly stole the votes for Tinubu. When the main protest starts again, this time INEC would the number1 target.

We need something like this in Lagos. Lagos is the commercial center of Lagos and would greatly benefit from 24/7 electricity. Even if at a higher tariff. I'd gladly pay N150/kwh of constant stable electricity, cos my gen is costing me like N450/kwh equivalent, not to talk of the noise, pollution, maintenance etc
Ofcourse you are right. This project was actually a project which the World Bank then led byNgozi Okonjo iweala adviced the FG to embark on but the FG stalled on it because of the funds involved. The owner, Bart, actually said he would have made more money if he located it in industrial estates in Lagos than anywhere in the country but he wanted to do it in Igbo land to contribute to development in the East. He is actually from Enugu State but choose Aba because he believed that's the people that needs it best because the massive production at Aba. So you are actually right. He can actually do something like this in Lagos if the state government can provide funds and award him contract to execute it. He has something like this in Abuja but on contracts and it's actually not just one only that this one is the biggest of them all.
