We need something like this in Lagos. Lagos is the commercial center of Lagos and would greatly benefit from 24/7 electricity. Even if at a higher tariff. I'd gladly pay N150/kwh of constant stable electricity, cos my gen is costing me like N450/kwh equivalent, not to talk of the noise, pollution, maintenance etc

The federal government can build it..but instead they decided to formulate policies to enable growth and that is how a normal government should be run..
If he has not signed that policy…even if they started building in Buhari’s era they will end up delivering all the power generated from that station to the national grid..

Nobody is saying it is a FGN project. The man raised $5m fir goodness sake. What I am saying is that just like Zunguru ( solved) Mambilla ( not solved) this project could have continued being tied up in red tape and conflicting claims till kingdom come if not for this administrations intervention.

In the same way, Tinubu has ordered the Attorney-General of the Federation to clear all court cases around the $1.3bn deepwater OML 245 oil block to unlock the assets for the good of Nigeria.
