Plus, let us understand that the information available today was not available to the people in the ancient bible days.

In the days of Joshua, the only way they could describe the impossible phenomenon that day was that the sun stood in the sky for almost 24 hours. And God must have held the sun there. They couldn't further explain the scientific aspect of it as we are better aware today.

I believe its our duty to put the remaining bits and pieces in the right place to glorify God the more.

Bottom line is, it was a strange happening that deserved remembrance. Thankfully, the faith boosting occurrence was recorded.

First, let me encourage you to continue to approach faith from asking questions as you have just done.

Just continue to be as open minded as possible.

Now to your point sir, Night and day occurs, not because the earth revolves around the sun. We experience night and day because the earth spins on its axis.

The revolution of the earth round the sun is reason for another entity entirely.

Also, I'll like to point your attention to a part of that post which you quoted. The part where i mentioned that the sun and the earth were held in same position for the duration.... This means that the sun didn't move, neither did the earth rotate.

Sir/ma, can you imagine a situation where you throw burning wood into a pool of water but instead of the fire to go off, the water dries off. As in, evacuates. Disappears. Extinguishes. Lol.

Yes. This was exactly what transpired in the bible days. Wow! Lets take a glance together shall we?

Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 1 Kin 18:38

Wow!

Normal understanding is we use water to extinguish fire and it is absolutely impossible for fire to extinguish water.

But not for our heavenly father because...

God does the impossible.

IMPOSSIBLE PREGNANCY!

No fallopian tube so absolutely no way to get pregnant.

Totally impossible!!

So, this woman, a polytechnic lecturer, had both her fallopian tubes removed due to rupture.

The first fallopian tube ruptured and was removed. Well, I still have the other so chances of child bearing was still 50%, she said to herself.

Not long after, the second and only remaining fallopian tube got damaged and had to be removed as well.

At that point, it was no longer possible to have a child of her own.

Also, menstruation was now out of the picture completely. It was now an impossibility to bear a child.

Alas! She stumbled on Emmanuel tv and prayed along with TBJ. She consummated with her husband and guess what!

The very month, she became pregnant! Totally impossible!!

Today, she is a proud mother of a bouncing baby girl. Wow!

Quick review: Before: 5 years childlessness+ No fallopian tube + No menstruation

After: Pregnancy and now a Mother. Wow!

5000 men were hungry but the only food available where they were was 5 bread and 2 fishes. There was absolutely no way to feed even 10 of them to satisfaction talk less of 5000!!

Absolutely impossible!

Well friends, Jesus did it. Lets take a glance together.

Ever seen a cartoon in which one character is serving dinner to a group of others, and the food from which the servings come never gets smaller, and never looks different? That’s about the best imagining of what Jesus pulled off in this miracle. It is in all 4 Gospels, so the writers must have considered it important.

In Matthew 14:13-21, he feeds 5,000 men, not counting women and children, which might have placed the number at 10,000, maybe more. He has only 5 loaves and 2 fish (7 total), after which, his Disciples collect 12 basketfuls of uneaten leftovers (12).

He does this a second time in Matthew and Mark, feeding 4,000 men, besides women and children, with 7 loaves, a few fish, and collecting 7 basketfuls of leftovers. The number 7 is interpreted as perfection. 12 is the number of the Tribes of Israel.

It certainly would have boggled the mind to anyone watching closely. How did he continue to reproduce the food? There was no description of manna and quail from Heaven. He simply blessed it, broke it, and had his Disciples distribute it.

Wow!

DID YOU SEE THAT?!

A low life sweet seller with NO TV to a house and CAR OWNER!! What?!!

Selling sweets was all she could do to maintain life. People looked down on her. She survived barely as beggarly as possible.

She couldn't even afford a television. Totally impossible for a common sweet selling illiterate to afford something as luxurious as tv. She barely could feed for heavens sakes!

Wait wait. That's not all.

Did you notice I mentioned she was stark illiterate? Couldn't even utter a word in English language. No way she's getting rich. No way!! Impossible!!!

Long story short, she was passing her neighbour's house when she noticed Emmanuel tv was the programme they were watching. Peeped in, sat a little, got hooked.

According to her, she said she saw the troubles Prophet T.B. Joshua passed through before the church got to where it is today. Wow! If God could do this for this man, he can create wealth for me too.

In no short time, she frequented her neighbour's place just to watch television. But the kids might be watching something else at the time so she would have no choice but to walk away. In her heart, she asked for a praying spirit. Tv or not. She wanted to be able to pray on her own at home.

And friends, the turn around happened!


People stopped looking down on her as before. Now people started seeing her as a respected person. She was well known but very poor political activist in her South African locality in the past though.

All of a sudden, there was a need to appoint local govt councillors (sort of) and guess who was nominated. This very woman!!

Lets remember that due to her abject poverty, she didn't even own a bank account. According to her, this was the first time she was visiting a bank to withdraw her own money. 10,000 rands! Huge!!

That's not all. Then 100, 000 rands! Her own Money!!! Wow!!

She was sent to adult school. She started her local government job. Attending to the aged. Met whites, Indians, other nationalities. Big organizations came to her locality to collaborate.

She not only now own televisions, she bought a house, plus now a proud owner of a brand new Suv (Jeep like)

Quick review: From a begging sweet vendor, with no tv in her home plus illiterate to...

A graduate, a well respected honourable councillor, with televisions, a brand new car, and her own house!!!

Impossible!!!

But God does the impossible!

How did you verify the truthfulness of these accounts you bring to us? I really want to strengthen my faith but I always fail.

Having experienced a few miracles myself, plus witnessed a few more on live tv, doubt doesn't come up again sir.

Whatever name your problem is called, our heavenly father can remove it and bring Joy to you.

Is it what people call: Poverty, joblessness, hiv/aids, failure, infertility, fracture, spondilosis, arthritis, cancer?

What name is it called? They are all the same. Just Concepts. They are not as big as the sun. If God can move the sun, why should it be hard for him to remove your situation?

Is there anything impossible for our God to do? Absolutely not!

So far, we have been made aware to the fact that God can do absolutely anything. As in anything! Just mention it. He can do it.

See how big the sun is, he can hold it in one position for as long as he chooses. See how mighty the ocean is, he can create dry land in the middle for you to walk on!

Our God indeed does impossible things.

Darkness has been all over the world and this is not new. According to the bible,in the beginning, darkness was all over the earth.

All the corruption, killings, fighting etc that has befallen countries all around the world today are shades of darkness that wont just dispel by wishful thinking sir.

Light is needed to make our world a better place. One person at a time. One day at a time.

Impossible Exam Result!

Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!! I want to share to you guys an IMPOSSIBLE event in my life that I will NEVER Forget…THANKYOU JESUSSS!! This is my story… Since I had to do my Spanish GCSE 2 years earlier than some others, I was revising for it nearly everyday 2-3 months before the exam. Few days before the GCSE, i went over all the topics just like my friends did….I thought I was going to ace it…that’s how prepared I was!! (…or at least I thought I was.) The day of the exam came… I knew I was prepared and confident that I can get an A* buuut…tragedy struck! Just after the first few minutes of reading the spanish reading paper, I had NO clue what I was READING NOR what I was WRITING. The comprehension was really hard! For MOST of the multiple choice questions I GUESSED the answers and even the comprehension part of spanish, some of the answers that I made up were TOTALLY unrelated to the text I was reading. I don’t even think my spanish answers were in ACTUAL SPANISH…that’s how bad it was!! And even the Listening part of spanish, again I guessed most of the answers as the spanish speaker was talking too fast for my brain to translate everything she said into english, only some questions out of the whole paper I did right…in other words, IT WAS A DISASTER!

Once I came out of the exam, I remember all my friends happily rejoicing on how they thought the questions were easy…tears started flooding my face. How come I was the only one who thought it was hard? Why was it just me? The moment I reached home, I remember having to put on a fake happy face for my parents and saying how the exam was okay so that they too won’t be disheartened by the dreadful news. Then I just cried all night …there was not a chance of getting at least a C nevermind an A *!! From that day onwards I prayed to the Lord at least most days to give me a good result and reading the Bible also comforted me. The most important words in the Bible that helped me get through the 3 months of painful waiting for my result were:

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

And this is EXACTLY what I did for the 3 months. EXAM RESULTS DAY CAME. I can still remember that day just before getting the result how I prayed to God to give me an A* ALTHOUGH IT WAS VERY VERY VERY IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT but I still prayed . It was just unimagineable to even think of getting an A nevermind an A*…I was even ready to start re revising all my spanish that day itself to resit the exam next year…..that’s how high the possibility was of getting a low grade…but I still prayed! When I went into school to get the result, my heart was pounding soo fast… “You got an A*, WELL DONE!!!” I NEARLY DIED WHEN I HEARD THAT….WHAAT I GOT A* IN SPITE OF ALL THE MISTAKES AND GUESSES I MADE IN THE EXAM??IN SPITE OF ALL THE RANDOM ANSWERS I WROTE..I GOT AN A*?? THAAANKKK YOOUUU LOOORDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My face flooded with elation… I still can’t believe the miracle only God performed for me. He answered my impossible prayers “nothing is impossible for God” guys! NOTHING!!! But not just that…..once I thanked God afterwards (and still do) for this massive miracle, in class the teacher gave out our marks in papers we got for the exam. At this point I did not care what mark I got as I got the A* but I was a little ashamed to get my mark back as I knew every one else of my friends who got the A* would have got a high mark unlike me who would have just about got the A*…because COME ON….how was it possible to get an A* AND a high mark. Average Friends mark who got A*: 234/300 My Mark: 298/300 I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO SAY BUT PRAISE YOU GOD!!!!THANK YOU GOD!!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST MIRACLE I’VE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE. HOW DID I GET HIGHEST OUT OF MY WHOLE SCHOOL? AND THE EXAM WAS SOO HARD I AM NOT LYING!!! …I got full marks for my writing exam, full marks for speaking, FULL MARKS for READING which I GUESSED AND ONLY DROPPED 2 MARKS for LISTENING!!! Where did the examiner give me all these marks in the paper, I do not know but one thing I know is ….. IT WAS ALL JESUS…JESUS GAVE ME THE MARK….IF THERE WAS NO JESUS AND NO PRAYER IN MY LIFE, I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY GOT THE REAL GRADE OF A C BUT ONLY BECAUSE OF JESUS I SUCCEEDED WITH NOT ONLY GREAT GRADE BUT MARK TOO!!! I THANK YOU LORD WITH ALL MY HEART FOREVER!!! I just want to say to you guys…….if God can give an ordinary, random person like me who guessed most of the answers in the exam, the highest grade …….he obviously can give you too…OBVIOUSLY!!…My most IMPOSSIBLE prayer was granted by GOD and he can do the same for you..AND BETTER!!
