I asked if he had a Wise account for withdrawing money. Upon confirmation, I added the provided email to the freelance account for withdrawal. During the withdrawal process, I suggested that if he didn't want to proceed, he should let me know.

So, to my surprise, after accepting the payment on February 25, he now claims his account is closed due to the fund (a fund that is issue from freelancing site). Despite proposing to share the loss, he refuses to pay me anything.

I don't think it should be shut down. People should just be patient when trading. They should not ignore obvious scam trait by being greedy and they should familiarise themselves with my scammers thread. A simple search of scammers phone number on nairaland search bar can expose scammers easily.
