To convert and find the value of 0.5 as a fraction, you just need to follow simple three steps which are as:

First you have to write 0.5 in the form of a simple fraction ie. 0.5/1.

Now, both the numerator and denominator should be multiplied by 10 for every number after the decimal point ie. 0.5*10/1*10 which will give 5/10.

Just reduce the obtained fraction by dividing it by its multiples or common factor.

On dividing, 5/10 will become ½.

And so the final value we get on converting 0.5 in the form of fraction is ½.
