This is wrong counsel you are giving. you cannot change from Tier 2 to PSW. Its the other way round. OP story is very clear, yours isn't. What is ''post graduate 2 years visa PSW'?

Thanks. He has business, properties as well. So basically self employed. What do we need to attach as proof as to where the money comes from?
I plan to use the emotional angle along with a strong application. Lost both parents in 3 years.

there is no 28 day rule relevant to any part of the visit visa process. Ideally since her husband transferred those funds to her, she still ought to present the origin of the funds .. how did her husband get the money. So his payslips or employment letter and/or bank statement would show this

Thanks Gissele. What about funds for Twin 2. Which account should she present? The 2.7m her husband bout in for her is not up to 28 days and the graduation is next month.

It will all boil down to how they can fill their forms correctly and PERSUASIVELY and also present their case to the ECO… maybe twin 2 stands a slightly higher chance due to 5 children and husband and leaving them to travel… ECO might believe she can’t abandon 5 kids just like that… other than that they do not have very strong convincing stories/circumstances, so the deciding factors would be how they fill their application forms and what they present as evidence to the ECO.

If I was applying, I would use the passing of your father to gather some emotional backbone to the application and how these sisters are all you have left and it would mean the world to have them at your graduation. Just tug at the strings as much as you can.

Hello everyone ,I lost my old nairaland account because i cant remember my user name and had to create a new one today.
So I studied nursing here in the UK and have graduated and due to start working next month with the NHS. Its a long read but i sincerely need everyone's input

My plan was to have have my dad at my graduation ceremony but sadly he past on few months before i finished my studies. Now i want to use those funds which i have been saving towards his coming , which by the way is domiciled in my naira account in Nigeria to sponsor my sister to attend my graduation next month. My elder sister is a twin and both of them will be attending the ceremony herein the UK.
They are both in their 40s.
Twin 1 whom i am sponsoring is single but has assets and registered with the CAC. She has a primary and secondary school and also a knitting company. The land for the secondary school is hers which is currently under construction. The land that has her primary school is on lease and jss1-3 of her secondary school. She is also the sole occupant at our late parents house.
Because she is building her secondary school , she has a balance of 800k in her personal account but it has inflow outflow over millions.. She does not have a business account. However like i stated i will be sponsoring her trip.

Twin 2 is married with 5 kids. Husband has various properties and a solid business. She has a shop in their compound where she does rentals and baking but not CAC registered. Husband is sponsoring her trip. Because they do not have a joint account i asked him to make her a cosignatory to his personal account with 5m in it and obtain a reference letter from the bank stating she has access to the funds. The bank said they dont give such. last week he transferred 2.7m in 2 installments to her account but reading through nairaland, i understand that is a red flag.

They both will staying at my place. I rented a 1 bedroom flat.

please i need your advice. How do i proceed. @Justwise, Gissele, Amelia T and everyone with sound advice. Please help
