And some stupid Nigerians who have deep hated for Igbos will come out publicly to praise the DSS.

The Nigerian government won't have that kind of strength to deal with the main criminals in the north (Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulanis Herdsmen, Bandits etc), but they will come to the Eastern region to kill unarmed civilians.

Nigeria is a curse. A fraud. A zoo filled with brain dead negroes and negroids who can't think probably.

bro stop gallivanting. everyone knows that those who signed the 1914 amalgamation were traditional rulers from all over Nigeria except Igbos because they never had a central government.

25 SURPRISING FACTS YOU ARE NEVER AWARE OF ABOUT THE "IGBOS".




1. The Igbo tribe is the first indigenous African tribe to engage in a post colonial war in Africa.

2. The only tribes in Africa that practiced democracy and egalitarianism before colonialism were the Ewe of Ghana and Igbo of Nigeria.

3. Apart from Nigeria, African countries where indigenous IGBOS are located are in Gabon*, Sao Tome*, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.
(*- The Igbos here were refugees taken to those countries during the BIAFRA war)

4. The only set of Igbos in Igboland that speaks the purest Igbo Language is the Isuama people of Imo state and parts of Anambra state. They are regarded as the progenitor of all other Igbo sub groups(like Ika, Ikwerre, Enuani, Onitsha, Agbaja, Ohuhu, Owerre, Izzi, Ezza etc).


5. Most light skinned Igbos are of Anioma and southern Igboland(Southern Anambra, Imo state and Abia state) origins.

6. Most dark skinned Igbos are of Enugu and Ebonyi states origins.

7. The only state in Igboland where Abacha(Africa salad) is widely eaten is Enugu state.

8. Though being united by one single bloodline, each Igbo sub group has different cultures and traditions.

9. The biggest Igbo clan/sub group is the AGBAJA clan. People inhabiting Udi LGA and Ezeagu LGA in Enugu state are Descendants of Agbaja.

10. In Haiti, there is a set of Africa-Americans who term themselves as "Ibo Lele". "Ibo Lele" simply means "I[g]bos from Elele". Elele is a city in Rivers State.

11. The Igbo tribe is the only tribe in Nigeria whose cultural and traditional activities were tied to the ancient customs of the Biblical Israelites. Some of these are:
- New Moon Celebration
- 8th day circumcision
- separation of menstruating women in a room
- Patriarchy and many more.

12. The Igbos share a common paternal ancestor with haplogroup Y-Chromosome DNA "E1B1A".

- about 70% of them are light skinned.

18. The indigenous Igbos(Ikwerre, Diobus, Etches etc) in Rivers State possess blue eyes.

19. The biggest commercial hub in Igboland is located in Onitsha.

20. The most educated and brilliant set of Igbos are from Imo state.

21. The only geopolitical zone in Nigeria with the highest concentration of beautiful ladies is the South East( Zone of the Igbos).

22. To easily distinguish a Western Igbo(Anioma) from an Eastern Igbo:
- check his/her names because most Aniomas bear archaic Igbo names like Chizie, Achuzia, Okwe, Ndulue, Olaedo, Olauda etc.
- the Aniomas are more muscular than the Eastern Igbo.
- Most Aniomas aren't business minded unlike their fellow Easterners.

23. The Igbos, when outside their native lands, possess stronger unifying bond amongst themselves than when they are at home.

24. All Igbos are too clannish i.e they are too keen to Patriarchy.

25. Highest concentrations of Igbo Muslims can be found only in the Northernmost part of Igboland(i.e Northern Enugu state and Ebonyi state).
