RECAP- if water damages any of the vehicles electronic components, there will either be warning lights flashing on your dashboard, or the components (i.e. power seat motors in the seat) just won't work, period. Water takes the guessing out of the repairs. Secondly, the interior floors of your vehicle are actually designed to get wet. It's suggested that you deep clean your carpets at least twice a year, which requires you to soak your carpets , then shampoo them. I've heard multiple times that there is a general concern for undercarriage rusting from the water damage.
