Supreme court sacks Victor Oye as the National Chairman of APGA.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has just reviewed its judgement which it earlier gave on October 14, 2021. In the said judgement, the Supreme court delivering ruling on the appeal filed by[url] Mr Jude Okeke[/url] against the judgement of the Appeal court, Kano division stated that the removal of Ozo Victor Oye was not justiceable. That it was the internal affairs of the party and thereby struck out the appeal.

It was on this basis that INEC recognized Oye and allowed accepted Prof Soludo as the candidate of the party for November 6, Anambra state governorship election.

But yesterday, the Supreme court sat again to review the judgement. Chief Edozie Njoku had written to the Supreme court demanding a review of the judgement on the grounds that it was not Oye but him, that was removed by the Jigawa state high court which was challenged at the appeal court Kano.

Chief Njoku told the Supreme court that Oye was a mere interloper who sought to join the appeal and should have been mentioned in page 13 of the judgement as the national chairman of APGA.

The supreme court in its wisdom sat yesterday and reviewed the judgement. The 5 man panel agreed that that it was an injustice to have mentioned Oye as the national chairman of APGA.


They therefore reviewed the judgement, corrected the error and inserted the name of Chief Edozie Njoku as the National Chairman of APGA.

Zaria residents plans a 10km Solidarity walk for Gen. Gbor

A cross section of Zaria residents have planed a 10 km walk in solidarity with the 2023 Presidential Aspiration of General Gbor (rtd)

General WT Gbor is a retired army general who was the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in the 2019 general election.

The solidarity walk by the residents is planned for Monday 7AM from the entrance gate of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria down to Kwangila, also in Zaria town.

Professor Inua Abubakar, who spoke with National Device Media Organization, exclusively on the solidarity walk described Gen. Gbor as an astute administrator and a disciplined politician who can move Nigeria to a greater tomorrow.

"as a young boy growing up in Zaria, I witnessed many significant milestones in Nigeria's transitions from one regime to another, and can only recount the fond memories with a sense of nostalgia", he said.

This solidarity walk is coming just when numerous groups across the nation have began building momentum for a sustained campaign for the former APGA presidential candidate.

Frantic efforts to contact Gbor for his position on his next political move as at that time of filing this report have not been fruitful.

Forget about the famous parties, we have real credible leaders who are hidden in all these parties. National Youth Movement Group Canvasses Support for Gen. Gbor

In Ilorin, city, traditional emirate, and capital of Kwara state, western Nigeria. located on the Awun River, a minor tributary of the Niger.

The Nation Youth Movement has massively mobilised itself to ensure former All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections seeks another opportunity for a shot at the presidency.

Speaking to newsmen, leader of the group, Musa maintained that, General Wilson Gbor remains a very credible candidate Nigeria needs to move her out the current quagmire.

He added that, just like President Muhammadu Buhari who contested serially before he eventually won and became Nigeria's president, General Gbor does not need to relent too, saying " 2023 remains the best timing for his presidential aspiration.

The youth group convener, urged Nigerians irrespective of their ethnicity, religion, gender and educational attainment to all rally round the retired army general towards winning the next election as Nigeria's president.

General Gbor is an astute administrator, historian and a retired Nigerian army general who has all it takes to provide a credible leadership to Nigerians, Musa added.

Indications are that, the retired army general may seek another chance in the next election on either the same APGA platform or another platform yet to be named.
