It's nice to see a lot of people out here interested in HSE. I myself is a safety professional, did my level 1,2,3 at NISP in 2005, so I've practically been in the safety field for about 7yrs. I totally disagree with anybody that says if ur certificate is not from NISP u are on ur own. NISP was someones idea, it was setup, owned and run by SPDC and has been around since the 80's. They are not in position to accredit anybody cos its not a nigerian safety licensing body. Its is only advisable to get certified by them cos they have been around for so long and more recognized... For those interested in Nebosh have in mind that Nebosh has different certificates. I recommend NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.
