Sir, can you stop sharing all these costs? They’re completely outrageous for the project size.

I know you’re carried along in every other negotiations but the figures are just too much for what I’ve seen so far.

Spending almost 500k on excavation, blinding and blockwork of this size of build is not a good deal.

By the time you’re at DPC level, you’ll have done over N1m on labour only.

My sincere apologies here sir. I just have to state the obvious
You are right Sir. I noticed it compared to prices i got from sources afterwards. This stage was a painful lesson for me and going forward, i have to checkmate everyone involved in this project closely.

Haba, 160k is just too much for excavation.
Like i said Sir, i knew it was outrageous but didn’t want to raise dust. I made sure every other negotiation was carried out with my approval.

Bet you meant 16000
I had my reservations over the amount but had to let it slide. My Engineer is a newbie in town.

Hi everyone. Please I need advice from the professionals here. Just started my first project and I think my engineer is not helping the cost. We are doing German floor now and he told me the masons are charging 10k and helper 3k? We hired a concrete mixer and he is paying the workers 800 per bag in addition to the cost of hire and operator? Is this the standard? I am new to this

I have been following up on your thread bro and it’s been quite inspiring. I am hoping to begin mine in about a week time. Is it not too much for an engineer to charge 1.5m for a bungalow? I am stuck due to his charges. Kindly advise bro, location is Warri, Delta State
