He has soiled his good name because of love of money and political power
He's not coming back as VP in 2019 because everybody he has begged for re-election has rejected him, Buhari and his party, APC .
FELA has spoken through his son Femi And the message is BUHARI MUST GO. and who is the better option, Atiku? |

Beorn: BigBros 147, let me give you one final example.
People that commit suicide by dangling from a rope hanging from an object, if you watch it in movies or see a video recording of the death, you'll realize that DESPITE the fact that they all wanted to kill themselves, immediately the oxygen stopped entering the body, they frantically started kicking their legs, struggling to breathe, and after a while, they give up. That moment of struggling, trying to fight to live is the handwork of the BRAIN doing its work. It's called survival instinct. Since the person wanted to die, why then was he struggling to live at the end? Why didn't he just relax and allow the rope choke him to death? It's because while he wants to die, the brain wants to keep functioning and will force you to try and breathe.
In short, it's the main reason the person chose to hang himself, to FORCE the brain not to try and stop him from not breathing. If not, na to just chill in his couch and stop breathing voluntarily if it's that easy. the same apply to people who were slaughtered or even have their brains blown away. The body jerks as reflex action. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Or are you telling me every body who was hung by the rope usually jerk their feet? Haven't you seen the instance were the person die instantly as a result or broken neck. Why didn't the brain try and stop the person then. What many of you fail to know is that the brain doesn't always try to stop a person from dying, be it a gun to the head, intake of poison, slashing of the wrists, diving in a river full of crocodiles etc. There are many instance the brain can do absolutely nothing. Have you asked yourself why some people turn and run when coming face to face with a lion, and others stand their ground and face the lion? So as regard the bolded, I wonder how the brain would try and stop a person who slit his own wrist, voluntary and involuntary action, no? |

KoiceReloaded: Bottom line, they were right, you were wrong. on the contrary, nobody is wrong and nobody is right. Since we're taking about reflex/non reflex action, voluntary action/non voluntary action. What they posted about the brain stopping one from suffocating when one holds his breath made it seem like it's non voluntary action. alexistaiwo: Let me throw this in here.....
In movies, we are told that vampires have the power of compulsion and it has also been proven that the brain won't allow death via holding of breath.
What will happen should a vampire compel a victim to stop breathing? now the bolded looks like it's non voluntary. |

KoiceReloaded: - First highlighted, there is nothing ludicrous about it. When your eyes goes, your other senses naturally heighten. - 2nd highlighted, they're not trained thieves. They are just three young opportunistic teenagers looking for a quick and easy payday, that's all. - 3rd highlighted, they're not killers. - 4th highlighted, the old blind guy was a veteran, and thus, is trained in hand to hand combat. Suffice to say, physically, he was in top shape. - 5th highlighted, if you witness a murder right in front of yours eyes, tell me, are you going to just stand there, or make a hasty retreat?
Nah. The movie took the realistic approach to life. It's not a matter of who deserves it more, rather, it's a matter of how resourceful you can be if/when life throws you a lemonade.. The dude had his chance to get away, but came back for the girl, and never made it out alive again. He blew it. Life threw him a lemonade, but he didn't know what to do with it.
Bottom line, it's a solid survival-themed horror movie. There are plot holes, but they're few and far between. Deserves more than 6.5 you gave it. Should be 7.5. don't forget the most important, which is, they were in the blind man's house. A place he knows like he knows his own dick. |

JeromeBlack: Shifting goal posts. JeromeBlack: I think what would happen is that the brain would force one to gasp for air but since one is underwater, one will just inhale water and die. if the brain can force one to grasp for air when one is about to die, why can't the brain stop one from pulling the trigger when one is about to blow his brains out? |

JeromeBlack: I think what would happen is that the brain would force one to gasp for air but since one is underwater, one will just inhale water and die. Kaycee7: It's not the brain's fault that when it finally makes you breathe, you inhale water into your lungs. The point here is, you can't suffocate yourself by holding your breath. the same brain that won't allow one suffocate his/herself is the same brain that can't stop a person from blowing their brains out. |

What will happen should a vampire compel a victim to stop breathing? says who? So I guess when one hold his or her breath under water, the brain won't allow the person die? |
