because Manchester United don't have much pace in centre of midfield, I believe the best tact is to play with those wingbacks (and have them stay wide) who luckily have more pace than Chelsea's wingbacks. The idea will limit support from Chelsea's wingbacks to the forwards and force their attackers to run greater, unsupported distances when they drop back for balls because let's face it, Chelsea's centre midfielders only really act as blockades.

Should Jose Mourinho set up without wingbacks, all Chelsea need to do is sit deep and counter which will easily get them goals because Chelsea's attack cast will simple outpace Man United's midfield every single time with added distractions from the wings; defensive shape is easily lost.
