Seun was just trying to give the thread more visibility. He made the decision in good faith but he doesn't understand that some elements will try and derail it There are so many ways that CabbieAc could have passed the message to him instead of been rude about it. theV0ice: Who carry this glorious thread come front page
Do they want to kill it?
I was shocked when my wife told me she saw my beloved thread on FP!!

It is because they can smell the change
Anyone complaining about Buhari's performance so far is either impatient, unrealistic or an hypocrite.
Buhari met this country in a BIG mess after 16 years of misrule by a devilish party. He is doing his work methodically and only the discerning types will notice it.
In 6 months, we now have a situation where top politicians and civil servants are scared to steal . Everyone is falling sick, getting cancer and diabetes and seeking treatment abroad because of Buhari. Even the head of EFCC has bolted out
Long live Buhari- we are proud of you! |

Thank you so much Very well written and insightful. Please try and write more , we need your intellectual contributions Obinoscopy: Yea, but I'm a very active reader on the forum
I think it's a good initiative. But the problem has always being sustainability. Also it's not just enough to train the youths, you have to create an enabling environment for them to utilise their newly acquired skills. Power generation has to be efficient and affordable for this initiative to be a success. Also the issue of availability of land and cost of rent needs to be looked into. Finally these youths needs to be provided with an initial capital to enable them put into use the skills they've acquired.
So you see, it's a tall order. But it's achievable if Ngige collaborates with other ministers (minister of power, works and housing, minister of land, finance minister, etc), the CBN and private firms. Buhari promised to address three things during his campaign: corruption, insecurity and unemployment. So I believe Buhari will empower Ngige to enable him fulfill the promise of job creation. |

A lot of hot air and the lack of points Please can you provide any evidence that they were illegally deported? So they have valid residence papers and yet they were deported? It is you that needs to educate yourself. Some of the deportees that were interviewed by the Guardian said that their visas expired years ago. What can the government do in that case? Promhize: If you think it isn't the government's place to protest illegal deportation of its citizens, I'm not going to waste my time with. Since apparently embassies and Ambassadors are meant to be touring their host countries.
Someone opened a thread about how gullible Nigerian youths are yesterday, you are one in a million. I have given up on educating anyone of you. It's simply a waste of time and resources. |

“I am happy to note that you had a good rest and time with your family during the break. I hope you also had time to reflect and see what lessons you have learned and what you can bequeath to others. “Maybe seeking how to be better and more serviceable to the nation and humanity is also a form of penitence and soul-searching to give conscience a relief and to show remorse. “I wish you well as you continue to forge ahead with your activities in the coming months and years. If there is any area you feel I can be of help, you should not hesitate to call on me. |

francizy: So what happens to putting the 500 in different flights? Or is it only a flight that moves from UK to Nigeria pa year?
You should be the one making use of your miniscule brains here. You don't just barge into my mention typing like a senseless tout just because you want to pass your meaningless info. Go take a dive in a canal or fûck the hell off! This is nonsense. No need to get all worked up bro Have you traveled on an international flight before? The deportees were transported on a single flight. |

francizy: This government is nothing but a joke! Lies here and there. One statement comes out, same statement is refuted on same day.. What a confused entity.. This is the proper description of illiteracy Is it the Nigerian government that deported the illegal immigrants from the UK or the British authorities? It is not the government's fault that twitter and other social media decided to inflate the figures. The Nigerian immigration has now clarified the exact figures and yet you blame the government. Even if the UK deports 1 million Nigerians, it has nothing to do with this government 1. Most of them have been living illegally in the UK for over 5 years, some 15-20 years 2. It is not the government's fault that they overstayed their visas 3. The government is not responsible for the residency requirements of another country Please brother use your brain instead of criticizing aimlessly Nigerians get deported everyday, a lot we dont hear about. No matter how good this country is and in spite of all the opportunities for those that have a brain, a lot of Nigerians will still try to risk their freedom to reside illegally in foreign countries This is a wake up call. |
